This is a perfect set for a finger injury. It's worth buying just to keep in your first aid kit. I broke my fingertip and this is the only type of splint that will protect it. The finger ice pack is a bonus that proved to be really helpful. So glad I purchased this. There is also a cotton sleeve that can be cut to fit. It was long enough to make three. I can't think of a single negative.

The finger ice pack was exactly what I need to help minimize swelling!! Use it chilled though, don’t freeze. The splint is worthless - short, fat, terrible padding, but buy this for the finger ice pack!!

This item has been well designed using top quality materials with an easy to use brace and gel pack which stays cool for an hour. It effectively immobilizes the finger with either the brace or the ice pack. Makes one aware that any movement such as bending and forceful use only causes reinjury. With daily use I expect to see finger joint injury finally healing where nothing else seemed to work for the last four years.

I bought this so that I wouldn't have to keep heating up a bowl of water to soak my fingers in. So the first thing it tells you to do is heat up a bowl of water to heat up the gel pack. Even with the gel pack in water, it gets Luke warm at best. Total waste of money.

the cold does not last too long, your finger temperature warms it up in 5 to 10 minutes.. this item is okay...

Great product! Price is fantastic. I needed to stabilize the finger and ice it often. No broken bone, but a sprained finger. My physical therapist suggested to purchase a splint for my finger (index) at a medical supplies store. It probably would have cost me at least three times more. The cool pad is very practical. It "melts" very quickly though. I like that it also comes with a cotton finger sleeve to protect the skin from the ice treatment. The splint is comfortable and not bulky at all. The velcro of the strap can easily damage delicate clothing - so be careful. But that's not a flaw in product design. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product.

The finger Ivey is where it’s at, unfortunately for my situation the splint only made the pain in my finger hurt more but the icey is really why I bought the kit. It is really cold even with the sleeve I could only stand a few minutes at a time. I’m not sure if that really helped me out but I’d like to think so.
