TickiT 48123 Magnifier Sheet Large Magnifying Glass Assisted Reading Aid Lens

I thought I would try as I work at home a couple days a week on a laptop and if I enlarge the text for typing it does strange thing to the other systems I have to use. (Should never have tried to save money buying normal spectacles for my current glasses - varifocals are the way). It does magnify a bit, but not as much as I thought it would, not really much difference and I can see the wavy lines across the plastic screen which is a bit annoying, just how its made I suppose. I haven't found a way to prop it up on my laptop yet very successfully, holding it in one hand to read small print as in a book or painting your toenails works but a bit faffy as keep dropping it. I guess it is cheap so I am going to invest in a magnifier on some kind of stand.

A4 sized hand held magnifying lens. It is in a very flimsy frame. It does have miniature lights underneath the frame. I found this difficult to use one handed due to the flimsiness of the frame. You get what you pay for with this very cheap item. There are better ones out there.

very good product, good value for money, unfortunately not suitable as used for doing puzzles and difficult to hold at the same time. since purchased a pair of magnified spectacles with light off you and found them very good

Absolutely not worth it. It is curved and doesn't stay flat so everything is distorted. Can't see how this will help anyone with low vision. Cannot use the whole sheet to magnify something as most of it is distorted so it's ko better than using a small magnifying glass. Don't waste your money, especially if buying for someone with low vision

just the job for those of us that feel the text everywhere is getting smaller and smaller

I thought I could use to read an A4 page but it only covers very small section of page.

Diese Lupe tut ihren Dienst einigermaßen. Pluspunkt: Sie ist sehr leicht. Dass sie eine A4-Seite abdeckt, ist nicht korrekt. Sie hat ca. ein A5-Format. Sie vergrößert eine Buchseite so, dass man etwas besser lesen kann, aber an den Seiten erscheint die Schrift doch etwas verzerrt.
