The package was originally mailed on time, but tracking showed that there was a problem with shipping, and it was rerouted back to the seller. I had to reach out several times. They responded saying that another order would be sent, but I never received a new tracking or order number, even though I had paid for it and needed it weeks ago. It finally arrived. I love this stuff and have ordered from the same seller in the past without any trouble. That is why they still got 5 stars. It goes a long way since it is a strong concentrate meant to be diluted. I use it around the house and farm, and occasionally to treat my camping and hiking gear.

As anyone with a pool knows, the cost of treatment chemicals has risen quite a bit. When the cost through our normal pool supplier nearly doubled recently, I went on the search to find something less expensive. Almost everything locally was roughly to same high price, so I was pleased to find this on Amazon. It was quite a bit less expensive, more in line with what we used to pay, and although the percentage of chlorine is slightly lower than what we used to buy, it seems to be as effective, so win-win.

That said, if you're shocking regularly or maintaining a large pool, you're better off buying straight calcium hypochlorite in bulk (like a 50lb bucket) and adjusting the dose down to sub in for your standard granular chlorine. Same result, far better value. This is great for convenience or emergencies, but not the most budget-friendly long-term option.

This 6 pack of pool shock treatment works great. The instructions are easy to follow and understand. This is great for keeping the chemical levels correct in the pool. We havent had any trouble with algae or the clarity of the pool with this. Pool looks great!
