Reliable, Easy to Use, and Consistently Effective
I've used a variety of thermal pastes over the years, and Noctua NT-H1 continues to be one of the most dependable options for both personal builds and client repairs. The application is straightforward, no need to spread manually, and cleanup is just as simple, requiring only a dry paper towel. Performance-wise, it delivers excellent thermal conductivity. I’ve seen noticeable temperature drops compared to stock paste, especially on Ryzen and Intel CPUs paired with aftermarket air coolers. It’s also safe to use across a wide range of devices, including GPUs, consoles, and laptops, thanks to its non-conductive and non-corrosive formula. The 3.5g tube provides enough for multiple applications, roughly 15 to 20 depending on the CPU size, and the compound holds up well over time. Noctua recommends up to five years of usage on the CPU, and I’ve never had to reapply prematurely. For anyone looking for a high-quality, no-nonsense thermal paste that performs reliably and is easy to work with, NT-H1 is a solid choice. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done right.

Super nice application pen.
Super nice application pen. Easy to use and apply just the right amount of thermal paste to my Dell Latitude 7530 heat-sink and fan assembly. My laptop is staying very cool now too.

Great paste. This is my new go to.
I’m og . I’ve religiously used artic silver 5 despite knowing That there are much better pastes available. If you’re building a Lot of systems Just get this stuff Top notch consistency probably the best bang for buck I guess there’s a reason why Linus always has it laying around One thing I especially love is the way it re-seals I feel confident storing this piece and being able to use it far into the future even after being opened.. My other favorite feature is the very easy to understand directions which to be honest just for fun I followed and it made a difference I put precisely the exact size dot they recommended for my socket. Are used a caliper to make sure it was the exact amount directions recommended guess what literally the most perfect pace application I think I’ve ever had which is nuts considering how often I’ve done it and the fact that this is a brand new paste I’ve never used beforeI think people overlook directions but they can honestly be handy especially when there is much larger CPUs now like ryzen and epic. It’s clear the Germans probably over engineered the directions . If u follow them to a T u will get a gorgeous application . Just keep a expensive caliper handy lol ... This will now be my go to thermal paste you can’t be the amount you get for the price the performance is probably the same as Arctic silver five if not better definitely way better than the cooler master gel Take thermal paste performance charts with a grain of salt because I bought a new were hyper to Saul Evo and it came with cooler master gel paste It has absolutely abysmal performance arctic ceramic two is better than the stuff like I can’t believe how bad this cooler master paste actually is. It’s hard to use and it performs terribly I don’t get who rank that up in I think Tom’s hardware thermal case chart I can say with personal experience cooler master pro jell is the worst I’ve ever used. There is a caveat the cooler master Is completely conductive free which works great if you delid and don’t have nail polish around to protect the smds.... so yea that’s about all the cooler master stuff is good for ... Good job noctua . Pls go help cooler master with their paste and their mounting system..... please. The hyper to 12 Evo truly is a legend it beats many aios there is a reason so many old timers swear by that cooler ..

Good, but NOT for bare-die applications.
this isn't a thermal compound for your GPU, or a delidded CPU. It very simply isn't robust enough to handle the immense amount of heat transferred in those situations, as you really should be able to tell from its rather low 110C maximum temperature limit.* If you need a paste for either of those things, you really should've be looking at the page for Gelid GC-Extreme (or more esoteric pastes like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut) around this time yesterday. If you don't know what any of those terms mean, meanwhile, you probably aren't in a situation where you need to worry about them. That being said, for the vast majority of thermal paste usages this stuff is golden. It's actually non-conductive and non-adhesive (unlike AS5), works best with single-stage installation (place a tiny blob on top of your CPU, apply your cooling apparatus of choice and call yourself done), and provides a simply massive amount of paste compared to most other options. * I know this may sound counter-intuitive, but the thermal paste between a chip and its cooler will always be a whole lot hotter than the chip itself, which is the root cause of why you shouldn't be sticking this stuff on your GPU.

One of the best
It's thermal paste, not much to say, but it does preform (slightly) better than Arctic in my case after testing on 2 identical systems, Lasted about 6 years on another prior PC before noticing a subtle drop in IDLE temps, active temps were still the same.

Good quality heat paste
Good quality thermal paste that, has a precision dispersal. Works well for heat syncs.

Noctua is the best
Noctua is a real hero for making this mounting kit. I bought this mounting kit to replace a suspicious aio with an old noctua nh-d15 I had lying around to go on an lga1700 motherboard. And it fits like a glove. Also bought some of noctuas thermal paste. I can’t say enough about how good that paste is. I’ve tried a lot of dif brands and this one is reliable. It never dries out and I get good temps. No complaints. On a side note if you buy this mounting kit do make sure that you use their backing plate included in the kit. If you don’t it may not tighten down all the way because the threads in the thumbscrews most likely aren’t deep enough to fully tighten down on your old backing plate. And it will probably be a bit loose. That was the case with mine and im glad caught that right away. I was just too lazy to take the rear panel off the case and fish it out. With that said this kit will work on an lga1700 motherboard.
