I'm.. writing a review on purpose because I tried alot of chapsticks & thats exactly what they are,just wax and coating but this one has the right texture,moisturizer,and a lip balm thats not sticky,to soft and not flavored with sugar.I'm doing a review because I was overly impressed with this.This is what it says it is and feels good on your dry or even blistered lips,Definitely purchasing more .The midwest is brutal in winter if you work outdoors alot.

For many decades I was hooked on Chapstick. I believed I was adding moisture, but the older I got, I noticed I was having to constantly apply Chapstick and I was experiencing deepening wrinkles around my mouth. I began looking into Chapstick and discovered it was not the lip moisturizer I believed it to be. I changed to the more natural Vaseline Lip Therapy, but found it doesn’t stay put long and smears. Now I use Nivea. Nivea is wonderful, stays on longer than vaseline, and according to Google is right up there with Vaseline for being the best moisturizer. I went with four stars because they don’t last as long as I would like.

This is creamy and moisturizing, not shiny and sticky. It is healing and soothing with no smell or taste. It is PERFECT. It is the best and I've tried so many. If the chapped area extends past your lips, you can apply this and it sinks in to soothe and protect without looking shiny. You can feel it there, but you won't see anything but hydrated, protected skin. I had a student who was a chronic lip licker where her lips and surrounding area were very red and chapped. Mom tried everything. I gave her a tube of this and I swear, the next day the red was cleared by 1/2 and after a few days her lips and surrounding areas had healed. This is after months of suffering and pain for this poor child.
