We bought this FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer as a Christmas gift for our son to go with his new sous vide, and he was thrilled! He immediately noticed how well it works and how easy it is to use. The automatic bag detection is convenient, and it gives a tight, reliable seal every time. The bags that come with the unit were nice and thick and ready to handle hours in a sous vide bath. We were also happy to see that it has a smaller footprint than our older FoodSaver model, which saves counter space without sacrificing performance.
