Blonde Life Brightening Shampoo | For Blonde Hair | Add Softness & Smoothness | Sulfate Free | With Monoi & Tamanu Oil

I got scared reading reviews about hair fall out and making hair feel like straw. I know defy damage worked well for my hair and i bought it off of my stylists recommendation after bleaching my hair. So, I wanted to try something else (the Defy Damage smell is ok but not my favorite). I love shampoo that works and smells good. I like gourmand scents with and a warm vanilla/sweet smell. I thought this shampoo would have more of that kind of scent based on joicos description..but, it doesn't. It smells like a salon and flowery maybe (no good at notes, sorry)? It's still better than defy dmg imo. I used it for the 1st time last night and I absolutely LOVE IT! My scalp feels clean and not itchy, my hair smells good (not overpowering), and the scent goes with my perfume which is even better. My hair feels light, healthy, soft, and all the good things. I wash with t-sal 1st because my scalp gets super dry. Then I used this shampoo. I left the conditioner in a little longer than usual at like 10 mins, but i could feel how soft it made my hair before getting out of the shower. I will say, with the shampoo, after rinsing, I felt tangles where my hair got a little damaged from the bleach; and I brush my hair before washing. This was not making me feel confident in the shampoo. The conditioner made it all better. I would not use the shampoo without the conditioner after that. My roots and about 4 inches down felt great with it but I could tell where the bleach is, it instantly got dry and tangled from the shampoo. I'm on a shampoo and conditioner journey. I love oribe gold lust but it's just so expensive. I'm trying to find what works best for my hair and my very oily yet dandruffy scalp with dry hair at my ends (my hair is confused). Joico and Oribe so far are the best. I did just order some goldie locks too after a sample did well on my hair. And I ordered purology. So we will see. My hair gets complacent with one shampoo so i have to switch it up. Hopefully, one will be my HG. Most drug store brands made my hair fall out by the handfuls. I used to have thin hair but it was thick. After all the fallout and a car accident it is a lot thinner. Which is why I will spend so much. I have waist long hair that is very finicky. I didn't notice much of a difference with the color. I'll have to pay more attention. I will update if anything changes. 1 wash isn't enough to really see all the good and bad. So far so good though!

Overall best shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair. I will keep buying. I've tried everything under the sun and this is the most luxurious shampoo and conditioner I've ever used personally. It's definitely good for my bleach blond hair.

Love this shampoo for highlighted hair. Nice light scent & leaves hair feeling healthy

Smells like a mix between citrus and floral. I believe it does brighten my hair as well and give it a healthy appearance. I’d compare it to the way your blonde would look after being in the sun. This shampoo doesn’t treat brassiness or give white/silver tones. I’d recommend a purple shampoo for that.

I love joico shampoo! I usually buy at my local Tj Maxx or Marshall’s but when I can’t, I buy it for the same price on Amazon. Great deal. The blonde life is my favorite line.

Smells great and works exactly as it says! Unless you have long or thick hair, you don’t need to use very much at all!

It makes my hair very heavy, as I don't have any colour in my hair it is not dry due to chemicals. This shampoo is too moisturising.
