No leaks
I’ve had this filter installed on my well for almost 2 years and change the filters every 3 months. Other reviews talk about a leak from the pressure release valve but I have not had that issue. The only issue I run into is trying to break the housing loose with the supplied wrench. The handle is really short and doesn’t give you much leverage. Other than that I highly recommend this.

Well made.
Easy installation and well built product. Like the double o-ring set up. Also like that the replacement filters are easy to find. I'm a plumber and I will recommend.

SimPure Water Filter
We still have some iron getting through into the toilet. The water has become softer. Easy for homeowner to install. We just purchased less than a month ago.

Straightforward Install
This was a replacement for my 10" x 4.5" OmniFilter that leaked.Installation was simple after shutting off the Well Pump and draining the system. The Brass Threads on the Inlet/Outlet were Interference to prevent you from bottoming out in the housing. Dual O-Rings on the Sump = no need to overtighten.I added Brass Nipples and Ball Valves on both sides for easier filter changes, then connected it to my 1 Inch PVC Pipe.Installation Manual was pretty lite but installation video covered everything,Would be nice to know the average life(In Gallons) of these larger filters is.Not a fault of SimPure, but Amazon should clearly state that the Filter Cartridge is not included.

Great Whole House Water Filter
This is my first whole house water filtration system. This is the smaller size I0” long. We have excellent water flow in our two bedroom home. It’s only been 18 days since I installed it on our mobile home hooked up to city well water. The filters are pure white before use. Look how much sediment it’s trapping! I included a picture of one of the 5 micron filters in the 4 pack I purchased together as a money savings deal. I recommend you also go that route. I decided to install a filter because of our water heater having heavy amounts of sediment inside after purchasing the place August of this year. I was also wanting to protect the valves in all our new appliances from damage. I think of how this sediment was getting all over me taking a shower! I knew there was a degree of sediment in any tap water. But not this much! I can’t say how much I highly recommend this filter. It’s a very reasonable price for the water filter and 4 pack of filters. Sad to say all the copper hardware cost more than the filter and cartridges. But I wanted to get away from using galvanized pipe.Sealant tape is supplied and a replacement pressure release valve rebuild kit. A canister wrench is included with the kit. Follow all the instructions provided. Use plenty of the included sealant tape especially at the fittings on the filter. I had to redo because of skimping. Follow the instructions. They give special directions on tightening fittings. I also carefully made sure the filter is in the shade at all times. A worry I have about sunlight & UV causing growth of some kind in the filter assembly. I highly recommend this filter!

Unmitigated junk - leaks like crazy from pressure relief valve + annoying seller communications
It took me about ten minutes to regret purchasing this piece of junk. As other reviews note, the pressure relief valve leaks no matter what -- and the manufacturer obviously knows it is a problem, because they send a replacement relief valve kit with it! I spent more on fittings than I spent on this canister, and wasted considerable time doing the install, only to find that this thing is incapable of containing water.I highly recommend that you buy something else. I'll be tearing this down, returning it, and searching for another product -- probably locally, since this kind of low quality bad experience is becoming par for the course for things purchased through Amazon.EDIT: I am updating this review due to the continuous contact I have had from the seller since I submitted it. First, they offered to "address any issues or concerns," and to "work to resolve the issues." That was useless, as I had already processed the return and refund through Amazon. Plus, there is no way to address or resolve a water filter housing which is incapable of containing water.Second, the following day, they contacted me again and offered to replace the product by sending me a "backup." It was unclear whether this would be free or at my cost, but in either case, I was not interested and did not respond. They offered to "meet my requirements" to "solve this issue with a wonderful ending," which I suppose means that I could have demanded something in return for editing or deleting my negative review. As noted, I did not respond.Third, a week later, I was again contacted, this time purportedly to discuss why I was returning the housing as an "unwanted item." The message from SimPure implied that I didn't want it because "it didn't meet my needs," to gather information to correct anything "inaccurate on the product detail page." I did not appreciate the implication that I returned the item because it did not meet my need. It was exactly what I needed -- or would have been, if it had the ability to contain water without leaking. I suppose if there is an inaccuracy on the product page, it is the statement that this plastic bucket will hold water and not leak.Although never stated (to avoid violating Amazon policy), it always seemed obvious that SimPure was fishing for a way to make me retract or at least tone down my negative review. Ultimately, all they accomplished was this edit -- my first ever in nearly 20 years of using Amazon -- to reflect an even more negative experience than originally experienced. In the end, I bought an AO Smith filter housing locally at the big box store, at a lower cost -- along with a couple of filter cartridges. That item installed easily and didn't leak a drop -- leaving me far more satisfied than SimPure's product and barrage of communications.

SimPure Whole House Water Filter Housing
My old Whole House Water Filter would not come loose, I had a plumber install the SimPure Whole House Sediment Water Filter Housing. He disconnected all the pipes and he even could not get the old Whole House Sediment Water Filter Housing to unscrew. . This is why I got the SimPure Whole House Water Filter Housing (DB10P), 10" x 4.5". On the top is most imported features which is the red button on the top which is used for Pressure Release. When the Pressure is Released it become easy to replace the filter. I am so happy with this Housing.
