It was easy to assemble. I just needed the right tools and an extra pair of hands to hold the parts in place while I join them. Good thing my colleague came in to help.

Started to put the bed together and halfway through I opened box 2 to find the desk was snapped in two, I’m sure this was probably a storage issue either in the depot or delivery van? I had purchased 2 of these beds and when making the second one I noticed box 1 had additional tape around it. While building the bed I found a new instruction book and an old / dirty instruction book, also some of the parts had evidence that they had already been bolted together and then dismantled suggesting the bed I had received was a returned item? The bed itself is very top heavy (for obvious reasons) so I wouldn’t recommend for older teenagers or anyone above 5’7”It’s a shame that the 2 beds I had ordered both had issues as the overall look of the beds is great and the quality of the wood is nice and smooth. They have also helped regain some floor space in what was two small bedrooms.
