After fracturing the 5th metatarsal bone in my foot, I needed a rigid shoe, referred to as a post op or fracture shoe, since the clinic didn’t have my size. I ordered this shoe from Amazon, based on the description and reviews, especially reviews of other shoes. This post op shoe has a rigid bottom and grippy sole, something reviews of other brands noted as an issue. The sole grips well and does not slip even on tile or cement. The Velcro straps are easy to adjust and apply and can accommodate a wide or narrow foot. I wear a size 9 shoe and purchased a woman’s large, shown in the photo. It fits perfectly for my needs but if you need this for support after toe surgery a size larger might be needed to give more length in the toe area. The ankle strap is just a tad long for my narrow ankle but works fine and would be perfect for a large or swollen ankle and foot. I’m very happy with this shoe fit and quality, plus it was less expensive than many similar other brands. Perfect choice!

This post op shoe works great and it fits fine. My podiatrist said this is the best brand to buy for post op shoes.

I actually got compliments from my friends how good this walking shoe looks; and it's very comfortable and easy to put on.

The strap has to be filled back at the end, but did the job. Used for a broken toe till I was out in a low boot.

Uncomfortable to walk in. They have a flat sole and would be better if it was a bit rounder. Quality is fine but found them useless with a flat sole. It may be fine for most people but not for me.

Good product. Did not think I cared for the flat end, but it is exactly what is needed to walk safely.

I assumed this was a one size fits all because no size selection was offered, at the time of purchase. It was approximately size 6
