Great splinter
Works great

Easy to install OBDII splitter. Small enough to easily fit.
I wanted a smaller OBDII Splitter and this worked perfectly. I read a review that stated that the female connector should be on the wide side and I agree. I realize that it might not be better for every vehicle. It would be much better on my 2016 Grand Cherokee. Well made and again simple to install. I needed 2 OBDII connections and I like that I still have an open connector if codes need to be pulled. I do recommend this.

Just what I wanted.
Much more convenient than the ones with the cables. Not to mention this one has 3 ports instead of 2. I was worried it would stick out and be in the way but I haven’t even noticed it being there. I run an ELD and an engine monitoring system in it and it works great with both running at the same time.

Physical Shape Limits Use
I believe this product could be more useful if the 2 side connectors were moved out some (even 10 mm). As it is, I could not plug in my OBD2 Bluetooth and other dongle on either side connector. This rendered it useless. It the side connector were further out, it would be useful. My car is a 2012 Malibu for reference. I like the small package. Other adapters use longer wires which might make CAN communication non-functional. I've also seen flat wire extensions. I'm not sure how those even work; CAN needs twisted wires. This small package should work even if the wires aren't twisted inside. In the end, I will probably keep this and try to modify my car slightly to get it to work with my devices.

Very good 3 way OBD 2
So far this is a very good OBD 2 cable splitter that gives you 3 ports.

Great for powering gadgets.. But not much else
Tried plugging in my mobile Hotspot and my Bluetooth diagnostic adapter and only the Hotspot works the lights on the diagnostic adapter work but does not communicate with the ecu making it useless but if you're trying to power a dash cam or something with this I'm sure it would work

Very good quality
I'm using this as a breakout box. I do not recommend using for anything above 1 amp due to the thin wires inside.

Fire Hazard
I had this product for a little over 5 months and it worked pretty decent, with my OBDII scanner and my trip logger, however today when I was driving to work I noticed a burning smell but saw no smoke so I ignored it. Then I noticed smoke coming from the the dash so I pulled over and pulled apart my dash but couldn’t find the smell. I looked down from where the smoke came up and saw my ODBII adapter melted and smoking. I immediately threw the adapter on the floor and rolled down the windows to get the horrible smell of an electrical fire out of my car. I will be seeing how I can push this issue with Amazon or the manufacture to get this dangerous product off the site.

I have an Envoy that I have a dashcam system installed and since recently upgraded the hardwire kit to the OBD2 kind. I also have a FIXD code reader that will give me the error code when the check engine light goes on and allows me to clear the code/light and I have a plug that’s supposed to help save gas. (The jury is still out on the latter)
