🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Reliable, High-Quality PLA – My Go-To Filament!
I've tried a lot of different PLA brands, and SUNLU consistently delivers the best results. The filament is well-packaged, neatly wound, and the diameter is extremely consistent — no tangles, no clogs, and no unexpected surprises. Print quality is excellent straight out of the box. It has great layer adhesion, minimal stringing, and produces smooth, clean finishes even on detailed prints. I especially appreciate how reliable it is across long print jobs — perfect for both functional and decorative parts. The color is vibrant, the material prints beautifully, and for the price, it’s hard to beat. I’ve had zero print failures with SUNLU PLA, which saves time, money, and frustration. If you’re looking for affordable, high-performance PLA you can rely on — this is it. Highly recommend for both beginners and experienced makers!

Top quality and trouble free if you set up correctly
At first, I had a lot of trouble with adhesion with the Sunlu Filaments on my Ender 3 with the glass bed, and also in a Flashforge with the PEI bed, but they's print just fine on the blue surface in the Flashforge. A bit of research revealed that the coating on the glass bed, and the PEI need to be toasty hot to activate the stickiness, and they loosen when they cool. Also, I was using the included Flashforge calibration card. I remembered seeing something about using A4 paper to do this, so I grabbed the nearest piece of A4 and set up the Z axis with that. It happened to be one of those extra thin sheets the NHS send their doctors letters out on. Instant result. the build plate adhesion issue was solved and nothing even tries to curl at the edges now. I print on the glass bed at 75 degrees for the first layer and let it cool to 60 after that. this results in excellent adhesion and the cooler bed prevents upper layers from pulling the print up, while the initial temperature ensures the first layer has enough time to adhere before it cools. Also, be patient with thin flat prints, let the bed cool down completely with the print held in place before you loosen it, this will prevent warping. It's the same story with a PEI bed. At first I took the PEI bed out of the printer when down and set it aside to cool quickly. I actually heard the print crack and warp as it cooled too fast! So far, I've used 15 Different SUNLU filaments, Silk, PLA+ and PLA, all have been great and printed perfectly when using the recommended settings (and a nice tight Z clearance) strength is great on all, and no issues with bridging. The only jams I've experienced were on the horrible quality Flashforge, which got sent back, no issues yet with the Creality. PLA+ needs the extra temperature but is a more consistent print with greater strength for it.

Great PLA for prints!
This is my go to now for my 3D printer. The amount of PLA you get is amazing and it always prints out in great quality. It provides a great texture and performs well.

Good quality except for the white/clear filaments
Ive bought 3 boxes from this brand. So far so good. 4 stars given coz of the white filament, the white seems to be rubbish, constantly snaps, full of air, inconsistent thicknesses, wierd. All the other colours have been fine and i will continue to purchase for that reason.

Easy to use, economical filament - but use it quick..
This filament was very easy to work with. Every year we buy a roll or two of green filament and make some Xmas tree shells. For an economy filament, it was odorless, finish was flawless and separation of suport was very easy. I printed at 220 degrees and 200mm/sec -- had no issues at all with over/under extrusion using the same settings we had previously with a more expensive filement, but did notice after 7 days, the tiny bit of filament at the end of the roll, broke under it's own tension into the machine feed. We've had much rain, and the environemnt wasn't moisture controlled-so this isn't a huge surprise, but worth mentionining. I'd strongly suggest using within a week of opening, or alternatively drying the filament. The images make the tree look blue due to poor lighting, the actual colour is more of a deep, mint green.

Perfect in every way :)
This PLA worked well in my BambuLab P1S - no issues, no nasty smells and an excellent strong finish on prints. Will definitely be buying more for my 3D printer. Searched around for best value and this one came up tops. It's also recognised in the app.

Rubbish
Absolute garbage. Came out stringy as hell and haven't been able to get a decent quality print out of it. Was worse out of the packet than other PLA I've had open left in storage for over a year. To top it off, changing it out of my printer it snapped in the extruder and has now clogged it all up. Great product, not!
