This may be my favorite pen of all time. I work in a credit union and I write very frequently . The ink is so smooth and is just a joy to use. The lines are precise but not dainty so the thickness is perfect. The ink is on the dark side (not a star wars reference) so it can clearly be read and really stands out with great contrast on paper. The diameter of the barrel is very comfortable as I've had arthritis since I was 11 years old my hand frequently cramps or becomes fatigued. This is not the case with this pen the effortless writing from the smooth ink and thickness of the grip really dramatically improve my writing experience. The ink also doesn't become runny or glob and skipping isn't an issue. Japanese craftsmanship is so vastly superior when it comes to writing utensils. The appearance is also quite impressive with a evenly coated black mattified finish and the blue jewel to top it off. The utility of having 3 colors at my disposal is very helpful. I'm actually a bit skeptical that this wasn't assembled by magic or divine intercession. The only unfortunate part is this marvel of science has ruined me for other writing implements , even most Cross , Waterman and Caran d'Ache are a serious downgrade in my hand after having wielded my beloved Uni. I've ordered a back up in the event it's stolen , yes stolen . I would never lose a writing companion of this caliber. I see everyone at my office coveting this treasure. The writing comfort , ink , and build quality are superlative. There's literally nothing I would change and in no way could my Uni Jet Stream prime be improved upon.

This is the second Uni Jetstream Tri-color pen that I've bought; I got the first one a few years ago. That pen, and this new one, are both exceptionally nice pens. The ballpoint ink is incredibly smooth-flowing, and the refills write smoothly without any skipping. In fact, the refills write more like rollerballs.The mechanism for clicking a particular color, and then choosing another, works effortlessly.The finish to the pen is nice, and the balance of the pen is exceptional, a major factor for people who write a great deal. This is a pen which can be used as an every day writer, and in a variety of settings, from school to corner offices.

Great pen. Love how there is no wiggle in the tip like most multi pens suffer from. I only wish there was a subtle grip on it, often times I feel myself squeezing the pen to keep my grasp on it while writing.

I have tried dozens and dozens of pens over the years and this is by far the best pen I have ever owned. It looks very nice, has a good width, a comfortable grip, and writes extremely well. Having four colored pens plus a pencil that transition very smoothly is a very nice bonus.

I love using the jetstream, it's my second most favorite pen only bested by Acroball. Nice that it has a 3 color version. I don't have to lug around 3 different pens now. Nice hearty grip section as well. Great for people with medium to large hands.

This so easy to use and so smooth compared to other pens. I lose these all the time. I recommend these.

This has been My Pen for a decade. I write, and I bullet-journal, so it and its multicolor functionality get used a lot. It never fails me. The mechanism is flawless, and replacing the ink cylinders a moment’s task. I think I first heard about it, I believe, from Kevin Kelly’s Cool Tools. One downside being made obsolete: used to take about 3 weeks to ship from Japan. No more. My Go-To Pen for a Decade

I really like this pen, except for the size of the ink cartridges. They are really small and will run out fairly quickly. Action is smooth, written lines are dark and vivid.
