Wire works and is exactly what is described. I got it got a Sony blue ray player and it works just fine. It also came I with the CUTEST thank you card ever :3 I attached a pic omg so cute.

Not like OEM, but works
Works with my Sony BDP-S1500 DVD/Blu-ray player. However, the connector plug is quite a loose fit on the pin (not the plug end), loose enough that it wobbles and may eventually need to be taped in place. But at least I can use my player again. Sony wanted over $50 for the OEM part.

Well made and smaller than the original unit
This power converter is well made and smaller than the original unit. I thought my DVD player was dead, but I decided to replace the power converter before I threw the DVD player away. It works perfectly now and saved me over $200.
