Cyan Sky, semi permanent hair dye blue - 118 ml - Lunar Tides : desertcart.co.uk: Beauty Review: Beautiful colour - It's honestly a beautiful dye and it lasts a really long time. I was really confused when I got it cause the tub was caked in dust and dirt but it was grand when it was used and I'm really happy with the results and I would recommend. I can't get the brand "Special Effects" hair dye anymore and I've been on a search to find the next best hair dye. It was the ultimate semi-permanent dye I have ever used on my hair. I thought I'd try Lunar Tides. Unfortunately, Lunar Tides doesn't meet the quality of what I'm looking for. Pros: It smells amazing, made my hair feel so soft after having it in and is very conditioning. It doesn't stain skin. CONS: I was worried once I saw the consistency of the dye when I put it in a bowl. I was looking forward to a beautiful sky blue, but was met with a faded-out sea green. My hair was bleached and with not much brassy tones and it still tuned out a "sea green". I would of been okay with it being sea green, but it already seemed as if it was washed out more than a few times and was fading, even though it was freshly dyed. I even slept with with the dye in and it was in my hair for over 12+ hours. It seemed like Lunar Tides "Cyan Sky" color wasn't able to "attach well to the hair" as I was spreading it on. If I put it on one spot it would dye a bit, but if I tried to spread with a brush it was already too late and it turned into the "conditioner" losing the dye color (in seconds!)... I had to use two containers to cover my head. Unfortunately, I will not be buying it again. I did go to Sally's and picked up another brand called "Strawberry Leopard". I slathered that over Lunar Tides. It only took one bottle (and not even the full container) to cover my long hair. It has improved everything and it may of turned out almost the same color, but VERY vibrant. I'll have to try "Strawberry Leopard" dye on it's on in the future to see if it could be my new replacement for semi-permanent hair dye. I'm really sorry. :( I really wanted to love Lunar Tides. I tried another color by them too, and it did even worst results on someone's hair. :( I probably won't try other colors in the future by this brand since it dye is so faded. It just doesn't work for my hair.

Schade blau steht drauf. Aber nach Blondierung waren meine Haare dann grün. Schade eigentlich.

Yes I'm gonna start this off with, I should've checked the color when I received my package and before putting it into my hair. That is my fault for not double checking so I am writing this so others won't do the same thing I did. I have ordered twice from Lunar tides in the past and received the color I paid for and I loved them so much!! This time around I ordered cyan sky but had to wait almost a month before they arrived. Also on top of that with some personal issues it took another month before I went to dye my hair, so at this point I'm just excited to get the color on my head. Well I opened it up and was thinking wow this is darker than the one I ordered but convinced myself it was the right one. After it has sat and processed and I washed it out, I looked into the mirror and fell in love with the color but still having the thought of its a lil green from what I thought I ordered. So I get on amazon finally and I realized I put the wrong color on my head. But I do love the color still and hopefully next time when I order the cyan sky I will actually receive it. I would give them that 5 star rating however I am a little sad about not getting the right color. But I love this brand and it is the only hair dye that I use now and will continue to use. Just a small hiccup and wanted to let others to double check their color so they don't accidentally do what I did. I am still happy with the result and still love Lunar tides, no one is perfect and I recommend the Cerulean Sea hair color to anyone that wants a bright blue with a green undertone and changes between blue and green depending on lighting. It's a gorgeous hair color!!

i made a combo color of neon lime from lunar tides with this one (cyan sky) and it might’ve accidentally mixed or i didn’t lift my hair light enough but it was a bit too dark and a bit more green tinted so i instantly tried to remove it by using my regular shea moisture shampoo and i saw the color in the shampoo but NONE of it faded, i even tried straightening without heat protection because usually heat lifts color, and it also didn’t work. then i tried anti dandruff shampoo bc i usually use it to remove dye and it barely faded! it’s not much of a problem because the green slightly hides it and i tried putting more green on top just to hide it. i do recommend though, if you want a lighter blue then put conditioner (amount depending on how much lighter, more conditioner; lighter dye, vise-versa) also there is a scent to it to me it smells like febreze tbh or like cleaning supplies. if you have sensory aversion to those scents or scented things than i might not recommend. oh yes and i forgot, it’s a very conditioning dye! my hair feels really good after using it, but since it’s conditioning you gotta wash it off enough or it’s gonna like be waxy ykwim?
