My favorite!
I am Asian and drink only green teas - cups of them everyday, so I have tasted quite a wide variety of green teas. My favorites are Japanese green teas like Sencha or Macha that are not fermented nor roasted. The taste is very fresh and not as strong as the other fermented or roasted teas and the color stays green rather than turn brown so they don't stain my teeth as much. This one earns extra mark compared to other green teas due to the following;----- Packaging, it's really easy to keep a couple them in my handbag----- Easier to make, normally when I use the green tea powder I need to use a spoon to stir it really well, otherwise they clot. This one doesn't do that.Definitely will order more. The shipping takes a while as it's from Japan.

I grew up in Japan and I loved the brand, love this tea!
Very tasty! I grew up in Japan and I loved the brand; am delighted to find it on Amazon. I wish they would change the name, "Oi Ocha", though. It was a common phrase used by a husband demands "Hey, (bring me) green tea" to his wife in our parents' generation. I would be upset if my husband ever used the phrase, but it was (hope not "is") common. But I digress. It tastes great, both cold and hot. Love the fact that I don't have to deal with a teabag.

Not what I expected
I drink matcha each morning instead of coffee. I had been purchasing a product from another seller on Amazon, but was looking for more of a bargain. With 100 servings at a decent price I thought I would give it a go. Be warned that this is not 100% matcha, it's green tea powder and matcha. If you are looking for that lovely matcha color, rich green with that slight acidity and vegetal taste that pure matcha has, this is not for you. This product comes in small tubes meant for about 8oz of water, when made into a latte it is a gray sludgy color and does not have any of the taste of green tea or matcha. Made without milk it is still a gray sludge color. No need for a matcha whisk to use this product, likely because it is mainly meant to be a powder that dissolves easily in liquids. The packaging is great, convenient tubes that are easy for grab-and-go, but this is not matcha.

Just go to H-Mart.....
Delivery - took around 45 daysDirections say 1 packet is 100ml which is 3.5 ounces; I've never ordered a coffee or any drink that small.... And it isn't strong or concentrated like espresso. To get my green tea fix I usually drink 12 ounces which would then be around 4 of these packets. So for me, this box only contains 25 servings (100 packets / 4 packets per 12 ounces). Even in Japan (where this came from) 12ounces green tea is the usual serving size sold in vending machines. If you're dead set on these, your local asian grocery probably sells the same thing for the same price and won't take 45 days to arrive.

Wonderful Japanese Green Matcha Tea
A Japanese friend introduced this tea to me a couple of years ago and it took a while to find it online. I was surprised to find it at a good price and in the little convenient packets for travel and in the purse. It's a true Matcha powdered tea - not leaf tea in a bag. The flavor is exceptional and after reading information on the company's website, I will continue to purchase this particular tea.

Good, but not great. Perfect for tea drinkers on the go.
Smooth, light, and refreshing. I tried this tea on a whim to see what everyone was raving about. Apparently, this instant matcha tea is somewhat popular in Japan, and I can see the appeal behind it. The taste is pleasantly earthy, grassy, and slightly sweet, with a very enticing aroma of sweet rice water. It is something that even novice tea drinkers can enjoy. It is noticeably weaker than Ito En's Traditional Matcha, but you don't have to worry about steeping it. Personally, I enjoy steeping my tea and the whole experience of tea drinking in general. Would I buy this again? No, as I find it rather expensive for what is essentially a one-use tea bag good for only 3 ounces. I can get at least 8 ounces or more out of the traditional version before it starts to lose flavor. Either way, I'd still recommend it for those who enjoy their teas cold and folks who are starting to get into tea drinking.

Nutty instant Macha. Really good for instant.
There was a brand like this locally, but I can no longer purchase it, as it's been discontinued here in the states, so when I saw this, I ordered and find it even better than the U.S brand I was buying. This is small packets of instant Macha Green Tea. Mixes very well in water and the taste is nutty and of medium strength. Nice clean, green powder in each packet and last me quite awhile.100 packets is a great deal for the price, when I purchased. Shipping was very reasonable, considering overseas time to arrive and getting through U.S. customs. I had it in no time. I recommend the brand and the seller.

Dissolves really well.
I drink green tea almost every day but I love these because I'm too lazy to actually steep tea, so these are great for me. I use 2 packets (it comes with 100 packets) for a mug of tea. If you use small tea cups, 1 packet might be enough, but the bigger your mug, the more packets you'll need. I like that the powder dissolves and there isn't any gritty residue left over as I've experienced with other brands. I also make matcha lattes with this and they turn out ok, if a bit watery. I might have to add a 3rd packet but this took a while to get here so I don't want to use it up too quickly.
