Do stock kits come with everything to make the gun fire ready? I am new to guns so if someone could explain stock kits that would be great

In addition to what Andrey mentioned below, and another reviewer mentioned that was very helpful was the need for a 5.5 inch 5/16 hex bolt... I had a tactical pistol grip stock and did not like it, ended up following these steps and have no issues " If you need a bolt you can go to home depot and get a 5/16 Course thread hex head bolt . 73 cents (you need a 5.5 length . So buy a 6" and cut off a few threads , if you're not comfortable doing this FIND ANOTHER WAY but that's how I did it ) there's also a guy on eBay who makes these bolts and sells them for $12. " just thought I'd add that incase you were looking to replace a pistol grip style stock. I should have never bought my mossberg with that because I had to break my grip to engage/disengage the safety on the top of the receiver.

Will this fit on a 590 A1?

Yes, it will. My brother has one on his 590A1, and it fits exactly like it does on my 500.

Is the stock in this set the same as the Model 05030?

No, this is the original length of pull, but I found it be very comfortable, just a bit shorter than the 14”. 13” would be perfect but I haven’t been able to find one and the 12” Is to short for me
