Dupatta Bazaar Woman's Embroidered Chiffon Dupatta Scarf Shawl Wrap Soft

So glad I bought this, I had attended a Diwali party this year which my coworker/friend had hosted. I really wanted to pay my respect to her culture and wear the appropriate attire for the festivities. Now I learned it’s better to be wearing colors other than black, as it is the Festival of Lights. I had thought of going to an Indian clothing shop to purchase a saree. However, when I looked at the price I just couldn’t afford it. But my goodness I love the colorful fabrics of traditional Indian wear. So I thought what could I incorporate with an outfit that I already have for this celebration. When I came across this dupatta I was sold on the price which was roughly $14 and the fact that the seller was able to ship it to me within 2-days, perfection!I received a wonderful compliment from the host as she mentioned the dress I have with dupatta really made me look like I was wearing a saree and that was all I wanted to feel a part of the culture and give my respects to her family and friends in light of the holiday. Which was a whole lot of fun!

I pieced this with a formal, simple red dress and was highly complimented. It is a beautiful piece except they stitched it in white thread. During the outdoor wedding ceremony where I wore this, the sun was hot on my neck so I slipped it over my head. The white thread caught and broke on a sequin of my dress. I had to break off the OBVIOUS white threads that dangled against my red dress. White thread on a red scarf was a poor dressmakers decision. Now that the thread is broken, to maintain the integrity of the item, I'll have to restitch it all in red, and remove all the white thread, which is probably a good idea as it is obviously a very poor quality of thread to break on first and only use.

This Dupatta is absolutely gorgeous! It is really not beige as the description states - the chiffon body of the scarf is a light iridescent gold color which is very lovely. The embroidery and trim are darker gold which is set off by the color of the chiffon just beautifully. This is exactly what I was hoping for. Vibrant but not falshy!

I love this dupatta. I purchased it in white with gold print to match a lehenga I had. I received many compliments on the overall outfit. This dupatta was large enough to wear as a half sari with a lehenga. It is very light and easy to manage. The only complaint I have is that it snags too easily on your own jewelry and bangles.

 Not as shown in the picture. I ordered a yellow dupatta because I liked the gold embroidered dot works. But the number of gold dots in the yellow dupatta sent to me had very very less embroidered dot works. So it definitely does not have the same look that is shown in the picture. Also the cloth is torn in several places around the embroidered work. Not worth the price.

Nice Dupatta! Washed on delicate cycle upon receiving with no visible damage, loosened threads or color loss. Orange scarf color is true to listing picture and matches my Shalwar kameez well.

Bought this in black and I love it! Just beautiful. Lightweight, and will really jazz up a little black dress. Might have to steam it or carefully iron it, but as it’s light will pack well, and offer another use for the same dress.

Nice dupata for all occasions..wish color was as vibrant as it looks in pictures but it’s chiffon!.wash carefully and only by hand doesn’t do well in washing machine even on gentle cycle they are very very thin material and very see through.
