Pretty but not practical
The material is fine and attractive enough. I got the gray color. It fits snug but doesn't quite cover the ears unless you pull the front almost into your eyes. I measured from the lower back of my head and around to the top front. It was 22". I'll be returning because I need my ears completely covered.

Beautiful, well-made hat, but size runs very very small.
Beautiful hat, very well made - but runs very very small; thus the 4 stars. If it fit me, I would have given it 5 stars. I think that perhaps this hat is for a child’s head. I own many hats and, if anything, most of them are a tad large for me. I have never purchased a hat that was way too small for me. If you have a young child, or wear a very small size in a hat then I would highly recommend this hat. If the maker of this hat reads my review and offers this same hat in a larger size, I would like to know because I would definitely buy this hat if it were a size or perhaps 2 sizes larger.

dramatic and elegant
This is a nicely made hat, lined in satin, faux fur is beautiful with subtle streaks of black. This is a big hat, however, too big and wide for me, a smaller person. This hat will get you noticed, it is dramatic but elegant. Ideal for a taller person. But for the price, very high quality materials, and no doubt very warm.I gave it a 5 star due to the quality, but that is for a taller purchaser who wants to be noticed, as indicated above. If you're of smaller stature, this is probably not the hat for you.

Just what I have been looking for
This hat is very well made and keeps my head warm. As some of the reviews mention the hat does not have much give to it. I purchased it because the reviews said it runs small and I have a small head so it fits me perfect.I love it!

No Elasticity!
It a cute cap, and it would be great for my curly hair... However, there is NO elasticity in the hat (even tho the description says there is), and it barely fits my head! My boyfriend even tried it and he has a smaller head than I do.. Snug, was his word. I'll be returning.
