Good quality line great price
Great strong fishing line, my line hasnt snapped while reeling in a big walleye. Its clear and the fish dont see it. I recomend this line if looking for a good quality line that dosnt cost a ton. Ita not to thich and doant get tangled up. Once the fish even nibbles you can feel it in the line. A must have for every fisherman

Very dependable!
I've used Pline for about the last 13 years since a friend loaned me a spool. Oh I've tried other lines which were no where near as consistent in their dependability. I know how too spool a line where memory is barely a concern. I've spent money on high end lines and generic Walmart garbage, I've always had more issues with line memory with most of em. I've also experienced LFS (line failure syndrome) with em too. Hey...... That line was put on last month, why is it brittle? Enter P-line. Having taught my son how to spool a line to avoid line memory, he did make beginner mistakes a couple times in that he over spooled. What some reviewers blame their woes on line memory is actually due to their over spooling the line. Stop blaming the line on your greedy spool habits. P-line has never demonstrated memory for me on any # test. Since my favorite fishing discipline is ultra light, my choice of line is 5# P-line, a cheap 5' Berkeley cherry wood rod and inexpensive Okuma Ultralite reel. I go crudging into the perennial cedar swamp woods here in Central Florida where fishing a creek presents tons of challenging situations. If you want to cast a small lure into a certain spot, some times you have to lean over, bend, stand sideways, cast under arm..... Etc. Some times you goof.... Pline has excellent anti abrasion property and doesn't fray easy (fish teeth excluding). Where it really shines for me is its dependability. Pline has surprised me plenty of times, but the most note worthy are the very rare instances where I've caught bass in a small creek full of blue gill, stump knockers and War mouth perch. When I hook a bass it's always a surprise. The only concern is steering such a surprise away from the safety of structure, otherwise catching a bass in the creek doesn't worry me. Tire em out. I was out last week on the way home and decided to stop the truck and fish a bit in a very tricky spot between two structures hoping to get a very rare and big long ear bluegill. Instead I hooked onto the biggest bass I've ever caught in the creek. It never broke water but kept wanting to run to nearby structure. I had to put on more pressure while steering the beast away. Then it would turn and run for the opposite structure. I was desperately trying to not over stress the 5# line and I dern well know I did. After about 4 minutes of this the fish finally gave up and I landed a 4lb 10 ounce giant (for this area). I released her (as I do 99% of the time for all fish) to raise more monsters since she was 1/2 full of eggs. From the moment I released her I could not figure it out, I SHOULD HAVE LOST THAT FIGHT. P-LINE DEPENDABILITY!

Good if your on a budget
I personally used this for trout and bought the 3 pound version, it was very strong for the pound rating and i didn't want something too expensive. The quality is great and invisible underwater, knots are good, but one bad thing is the memory. The memory makes the whole line very springy and hard to handle, the thickness is fine since it's only 3 pounds but it perfumes almost perfect.

I love this line from gear fishing to fly fishing
As the title says, I love this line from gear fishing to fly fishing. I use 30# for a leader line on my 8' rod with 60# braided line throwing Umbrella rigs and Swim Baits of various sizes. I use 25# to 20# for leads for Striper fishing 40# braided line. I use 20# to 10# for leads on 30 to 15# braided line for bass. I use 30#, 25#, 20#, 15#, 10#, 8# and 4# to create fly fishing leaders and then use a tippet ring to 3# and 2# tippet lines. This works great from trout to bass for fast sinking line with a delicate delivery. Works perfectly in creeks for trout and bass in shallow water.

Really has "Excellent Castability and Knot Strength"
I have been fishing for nearly 60 years, my Father had me fishing striped bass with Ocean City baitcasters using Dacron line when I was eight years old. Our Mono back then had a little less memory than 16 gauge wire, and was 99 cents for a thousand yards at our local Pay-less drug store. Man, has line changed since then. During the eighties most of us were using Trilene, which is a very good Mono today. I started using P-Line Floroclear not long after it was introduced, the company had sent me a free sample to try out. I remember I was fishing on Lake Don Pedro and I found its smaller diameter to be much more manageable than the old Trilene I had been using. To this day after going through many different types and brands I still prefer P-Line’s Floroclear and Sufix Siege over every other line out there. I’ve used Floroclear in 6 to 30 pound test, and never broke any of those lines on a fish. If you fish with a spinning reel for an extensive amount of time and don’t manually close the bail every time you cast, you will develop an excessive amount of line twist on your spool, which can eventually weaken your line and reduce your castability. People also complain about Floroclear breaking, stating that when they grabbed the line when reeling in a fish the line broke. I see no reason to even try to explain that one. Knot Slippage, this line has excellent knot strength, I’ve never used anything other than an ordinary improved clinch knot (Fisherman’s Knot) and have never had a knot fail, two years ago I caught a 56 inch sturgeon in a swift tide that was over 60 pounds on 30 pound P-Line Floroclear using a Penn Squall 15 levelwind reel. No copolymer or monofilament comes with zero memory, only braid, and this is why I use 6 to 12 pound line on my spinning reels and 15 to 30 on my larger baitcasters, I have found that most of the heavier lines, in all brands, will have a tendency to sometimes coil off of spinning reels easier, especially if the line is put on incorrectly or the spool is just slightly overfilled. If there is any drawback, I think Sufix’s G2 Precision Winding would make P-Line’s Floroclear an even more memory free line.
