I have had Samsung low end 4 in one black and white printers, copiers, scanners and faxers for years! they hold up well and I can call the company any time with questions and assistance. the only drawback is how I place my payroll checks in the feeder. because this is a duplex printer I have to rearrange the order for them to print in the right order. I would recommend Samsung to anyone. it's a great machine for the price, holds up well and does everything I need in my small business office. especially for the price. simple to set up, it's networked, faster scanning, networked scanning. it's great.

The toner came on time, in good condition, and I've been back in business printing everything I need!

Tried cheaper, off-brand re-manufactured toner...always end up coming back to OEM Samsung toner. Better quality, longer life, fewer problems, better print quality.

This is my second purchase of this item. The first I purchased Oct 2013; I just replaced that one January 2015. So I am writing this review based on that purchase. I printed a lot and did not have any problems. It was easy to install and remove. I shook it a couple of times towards the end so I could use it as long as possible. I hope this one is as good as the one it replaced. I printed a boatload of coupons, applications, statements, letters, brochures, recipes, vouchers and any other useful information I found online for me and others. Much better value than my old inkjet purchases.

It is difficult to rate a product until you've used them fully. Having used both OEM and knockoff cartridges, it is apparent that the OEM version is better and longer lasting. However, it is also very expensive. It is almost cheaper to buy a second printer and use it with the generic cartridges sold through several Amazon sellers for draft type printing and using the other printer with Samsung cartridges for higher quality output. The generic cartridges tend to leak and damage the roller that transfers toner to the printed page. My last two OEM cartridges lasted well beyond the printer dialog indicating I was out of toner.

Please note that we purchased this toner cartridge for a Samsung ML-2955ND. This particular printer has long been discontinued (bought in ~2012). However, this model is a workhorse!! We have now bought 4 of these cartridges since the initial purchase of the printer. I give the Samsung printer driver a lot of credit for its monitoring of the toner. It seems to be dead on and it allows us to make a purchase "just in time." I know that there are 3rd party vendors who sell a similar cartridge for a cheaper price; however, I am not willing to take the chance. I have learned the hard way on ink printers that refilling or buying a knockoff generally results in damage to the printer requiring a new unit. I also like the fact that they package the cartridge so that the box can be reused to mail back the old cartridge. Samsung will pay for the shipping.

I once tried a non-Samsung toner cartridge for my laser printer, and I regretted it because the ink didn't last as long as promised. I've purchased this cartridge twice now, and it lasts for much longer, maybe even longer than the advertised 2500 pages. (I don't count pages!) I'm back to the real deal for good. It comes in an official Samsung-branded box, packing, and cartridge housing. I bought mine direct from Amazon, and it was worth every penny.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

Exact replacement. I dislike being off-brand toner cartridges and then getting only half or less of the toner it claims to hold. You get what you pay for, so if you buy cheap, you don't get a full cartridge from my experience over the years. I find it better in the long run to just buy OEM cartridges. This model number works in multiple Samsung printers.

Works great, and arrived in 2 days! I had one cartridge which had a 500 page yield and it lasted for more than one year with more than 500 pages; this was also with me being in school and having to print numerous reports, notes, and papers too.Been using this toner since December, and it's still going strong. Highly recommended!

Came as advertised. Samsung quality. No complaints, other than the price, but I am unwilling to try a compatible cartridge.
