THESE BRACKETS ARE GREAT
I wanted a pair of saw horses but didn't want to make something makeshift that would wobble or fall apart. These brackets are so easy to use and are very sturdy. They also look neat, just as if I know what I am doing. 2 x 4's for the legs and I used a 4 x 6 for the top, perfect. They stack nice and can be broken down without tools. Even my mother-in-law said that they looked nice!

Easy
Used these for a set of sawhorses as a base for 3x8 heavy duty table for tailgating. Tired of flimsy plastic tables. Excellent for the purpose! Only drawback is the wing nuts are a bit fragile. One broke on the second time setting up. But for that I would rate 5 stars.

Know before you buy...
Pros:Abled to be disassembledInexpensiveSturdyAble to use wider top boardsCons:A 2 x 6 will not actually fit in the 2 x 6 portion of the bracket - it will need a little trimming - see photo. The through-bolt will sit on top of the top board making an uneven surface - it will need to be countersunk (see photo). It would be nice if they included an angle template for cutting the feet at the correct angle.

Woodstock D4220 Sawhorse Brackets
These exact brackets are offered by at least a couple sellers here. I chose this seller to take advantage of Amazon Prime next-day delivery. The brackets work fine. The packaging was fine. The brackets do not come with instructions, but as other reviewers have commented, if you need instructions to assemble a sawhorse with these brackets you probably shouldn't be building sawhorses or undertaking any projects where you might need sawhorses. Other reviews have mentioned problems with getting 2x4s to fit in the brackets. I used pressure-treated 2x4s, as I had several on hand, and they are a little bit bigger than regular 2x4 boards. By putting the bracket on the floor and fitting the 2x4 into the bracket and then tapping the end of the leg with a hammer you can get the board correctly inserted. It will be snug. For the top board, I used a rasp to take down one corner a little bit and was then able to get the board to sit nicely in the slot on the top of the bracket. See photo above. Just to keep things simple I cut all the boards to 30". You can make the sawhorses any height or width you desire.I countersunk the bolts to keep the top of the sawhorse flat and I cut the legs at 17.5 degrees so they sit flat on the floor. See photos.

Returning as soon as possible
No instructions. I’m sure I could figure this out but why should I? Inside the package is a few pices of black plastic and some bolts. I have no idea what cuts to make.Does not fit a 2 x 6. The fit is about a 1/16 “ to small for the board. If there were instructions it may tell me to rip the wood down a fraction or maybe I’m to heat the plastic so it softens then stomp the 2 x 6 on!

Side top of bracket came cracked. Treated 2x4 don’t fit. No response about crack from company.

Quick and Easy Sawhorse!
Goes together very easily. Stability is improved if the bottom of the legs are cut at an angle to match the floor.
