YES! ADHD review! Used daily 4.5 years! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I freaking ADHD abused this thing! I use it 1-6 hours a day 4- 7 days a week. Forgot to turn it off pretty often, sometimes for days. Occasionally it would it would get burnt build up that I could usually just squeeze out a few times I had to use a little paper clip to clean it. That’s what finally killed it. lol. The build up was just too thick. I had a feeling because I didn’t clean ut out as good the last time I didn’t it. It was dumb because it only took two minutes to clean. Oh well. It’s cordless but not battery operated so stay close to the outlet (that’s the only reason I didn’t lose it! I did tape it to my counter so it would slide off the charger easily, that was my only complaint. Leaving it on was my fault. 🤦♀️ I did a bunch of research in them and decided to go back to this one. It heats up fast, and last a couple minutes off the charger. Then I just got a FANCY cordless one gifted to me. I was pretty excited and I actually love it! It’s smooth and soft it’s not cheap feeling or made like a dumb power tool (i like power tools, but it’s a freaking glue gun those G-gun designers need to calm down. Who wants a glue gun that looks like it could build a house? Nobody! And making then partly pink is pathetic! They’re ruining the color pink for everyone! Anyways this new one looks and feels fancy! Haha. And it would be GREAT if I didnt lose it every 3 minutes and It shuts off so quickly on its own and I’m not a fan of that….. classic irony. So everytime I pick it up I have to turn it back on and wait. It does heat fast but it’s annoying. And I feel bad because it was a really nice thoughtful gift and I want to love it. But I use glue guns all the time for personal used to so I’m gonna keep that one in my artist hutch next to the old plugin one. That’s my glue story. I hope you get this and love it as much as I do!!! 🩷🩵♥️💛💚

Excellent product!
Super easy to use. So much better than my old glue gun. It heats quickly and you can remove it from the holder and use it in cordless mode fir up to two minutes.

Highly recommend
I love the precision this glue gun offers! I’ve seen some complaints about glue leaking, but I think that’s because it’s designed for quick, ready-to-use crafting. You just need to work a bit faster with this one so the glue doesn’t ooze out. For my projects, it’s perfect and having hot glue always ready to go is every crafter’s dream. A little hack I’ve found: if you need to pause before using the glue, just toggle the off switch. The glue stays hot enough to use but won’t keep heating to the point of leaking. Using it this way, I haven’t had a single issue with drips or mess. It’s made me more efficient and is much more reliable than my regular glue gun!

Nice but the Stand has a Design Flaw
I picked this one because I liked the stand and the idea of being able to use it cordless or corded. It works well, but the stand has a major design flaw. The stand works well if you are using it in cordless mode, but there is no way to use the stand if you are using it corded. The charger is built into the base where the unit has to sit into when using the stand which means it plugs into the bottom of the handle using it corded and the cord interferes with being able to sit it into the base.

Excellent purchase
As a lover of crafting, this is by far the best glue gun I have yet to use. Love the fine tip, love how fast it heats up, love the stand and the silicone drip pad and love that I can use it as a cordless or plug in depending on the need. It appears to be well made and I anticipate getting a lot of use from it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality product.

So glad I bought!
This is a brand and style that is highly discussed in paper craft communities. I needed a new glue gun and I love the idea of cordless. This did not disappoint. It must be on the stand to heat up, but then you can remove it and use for quite awhile. It has a little pad to catch the drips as it heats. Just be aware it doesn't come with glue so order some mini glue sticks as well.

Great for gift wrapping, though base is a little snug
For years - about a decade now - I've been using a large, industrial glue gun to wrap my gifts. That gets hot, and puts out plenty of glue, but the nozzle is wide, the gun is unwieldy, and the glue sticks pretty long, so I finally decided to get something a little more appropriate for the task. I was attracted to the CL-195F because of its corded/cordless design and its fine tip. Basically, it's about perfect for what I'm doing. It dispenses a much more reasonable quantity of glue, the narrow tip lets me add just enough in just the right places to make everything secure, and there's no loss in the quality of adhesion due to it being capable of working with high-temperature sticks. I'm sure it will be useful for many other things than wrapping gifts. I have three complaints: First, as others have said it fixes a little too tightly into its base, so that - without screwing the base down or adhering a weight to the bottom - I need two hands to remove the gun from it. If I use one hand, the base comes away with the gun. A heavier base, or slightly looser connection, would avoid this. I tried applying some silicon-based lubricant, but this only helped a very little. I tried disassembling the base and slightly widening the metal contact sleeves - this worked perfectly, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that being anything but snug, I don't want arcing in something that may remain on for as much as 30m unattended, so I tightened them again. I'll think about an alternate solution (e.g. magnetic contacts), but most likely I'll just velcro the base to a spare steel plate I have hanging around. Second, the wire position on the base is an unusual choice - it should face 180 degrees from its current location, towards the "tray" not towards the back, as most outlets will be positioned on the far side of the workspace, with the project being on the near side. As a half-solution, I'm going to try a right-angle plug (like ASIN B0C3H548SY); note, that cable isn't polarized and will require modification before connecting it up, but I'll confirm the polarity before doing so. Third, it is also the case that I think it may dispense a too little glue per trigger squeeze, but I suspect that is just a matter of technique, adjusting from my previous 60w construction gun. I would have purchased the larger model, but it didn't come with the fine tip. Unlike some other use cases, when wrapping gifts I only have the gun off its base for maybe 30s, so cooldown time isn't a problem for me. A word of warning - for some reason Amazon pairs this glue gun with a package of 1/2" glue sticks, not the 1/4" sticks that are compatible with it. At least, that is how it was when I bought it. Make sure you are getting the right sticks with the gun. If you are using this as a corded glue gun, it's a four-star unit, no doubt. If you are using it as a cordless unit, it needs a second revision. Still, I would generally recommend for most detail and wrapping uses.
