Using it to power a dashcam from the rear view mirror.Works very well. However it is quite short in length.

Bought this as my car has a USB C port near the interior mirror; this is to serve a Dashcam which like most is a mini USB port. It saved having a long lead wrapped round the mirror unnecessarily and is doing the job very well so far. Very pleased. So if you have a Skoda Octavia Mk 4 and a dashcam fitted I recommend this lead for its shortness. Yes it means you have to have the dashcam on the driver's side of the mirror but that's no big deal for me anyway.

Will do the job, very handy option for adapting my dash cam.

I took delivery of my new company car yesterday and noticed the USB C port next to the rear view mirror. Upon finding this product and seeing reviews for the same use I need it for, I ordered it. Arrived today and fits perfectly, decent length to pop dashcam behind rear view mirror.Will recommend the product to colleagues taking delivery of their cars in coming weeks!

Bought for a Skoda Octavia dash cam and the cable is just a little to short if you want your camera out of view on the passenger side. Would be fine for direct mounting under the mirror but then the camera is blocking the view. Managed to angle the mount so the camera is just in reach so it does work just not as comfortable.
