Haven't read any Miles Morales comics, don't know if this counts. I'm a Spider-Gwen fan and this was a really good read. It also made me look at purchasing some of Miles Morales stuff. As a relationship I don't know if I buy into the two of them, but it isn't something I'd be opposed to as a fan either.Good read, good plot, good art. Can't wait for more Spider-Gwen

“Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig…” – no, really, someone starts to sing it!
Spider-Man/Spider-Gwen: Sitting in A Tree is a crossover between the two titles, collecting issues #12-14 of Miles Morales, Spider-Boy and issues #16-18 of Spider-Gwen (“Woman. Spider-Woman, actually.”).Like Spider-Women before it, and from which the plot is developed, the story flows from one title to another, with a fairly smooth path, apart from the jarring differences in artwork. Mr Bendis really does get the first choice of artist.Anyway, the plot involves Maria Hill recruiting Miles to look for his father - “Jefferson Davis – Agent of SHIELD” – who has gone missing investigating the sale of dodgy technology. As it turns out, agents of SILK from Spider-Gwen’s Earth are involved, as is Miles’ ‘father’ on the other side. A faulty dimensional travel device leads to a wider team-up by the end of the story, and you can guess with whom from this review’s title. There’s lots of running, shouting and thwipping (should there be two "p"s in "thwipping"? There are in whipping.) before the end, with ongoing stuff from both titles mostly being left in limbo, apart from when the two leads discuss their ongoing stuff with each other. It is a very entertaining story, and Mr Bendis’s half is particularly well- (and subtly-) illustrated – just watch the positions of Miles’ room-mates slowly shifting as he tells them his story. This book is worth at least 4½ stars.PS: Over in Mr Bendis’s new Jessica Jones title ( Jessica Jones Vol. 1: Uncaged ), there is a man who claims to remember living in a parallel universe – which got destroyed – and gets into a deep and disturbing discussion with Jessica when she is interviewing him about his murdering his wife in this universe. This might have ramifications down the line for Miles, as Marvel’s writers have a habit of planting seeds well in advance for forthcoming events. And questions are asked about the whereabouts of the Fantastic Four…

I love the idea of Miles and Gwen together but.
just wish there was a bit more fire. make the feelings feel more real. as it is right now its like they hook up because its a "he/she was there for me" thing. the hinted romance in the spider verse movie was cool because it leaves room to build on and i hope that's the plan.still early days for both.small spoiler...even thought the story is about finding his dad we came here for the romance between gwen and miles and it was a bit lacking.other than those small things i liked it because i like stories that build charters and add depth to them and their lives
