The overall picture quality seems about as good as that of my Pioneer release and even includes a lot of content that Pioneer edited out. However the picture quality such as the far away shot where Shane Douglas gets in the ring at the start of the ppv is really awful. Also I don't care for the DVD-R format. I can't play it on my laptop so I had to watch it on a DVD player in my mothers room. Highspots delivered it much faster then I expected so points for that. Overall it was better then expected and I intend to buy more ECW ppvs.

Picture could have been more clear!!!!
Great pay view but the picture was terrible a lot of static on the screen. Like the guy on his VHS watched it a hundred times. Only good thing is nothing cut out like wwe. Long live ECW!!!

ECW's Best Pay Per View Event
It should be noted that I don't have the actual RF Video release of this event as I watched either the original PPV broadcast or the Pioneer Home Video release of this event so I have no clue to any edits (music/entrances/interviews/ect.) that may or may not be on this release.Shane Douglas & Francine joined Joey Styles on commentary for this show. The main event was a Street Fight with Tommy Dreamer & Sandman & Spike Dudley vs. Dudley Boyz with Dreamer looking for revenge for Beulah being taken out of ECW thanks to the Dudleys in a brawl that saw everything from brawling throughout the crowd to ladders & chairs to even fights involving the managers against the referee with an even crazier aftermath involving allies of both teams who had unfinished business. Taz defended his personal FTW Championship against Bam Bam Bigelow in a Falls Count Anywhere match that some stiff power moves out of both men while fighting in the ring through the crowd all the way to the ramp using whatever they could get their hands on from chairs to tables with both men being victims of their intense fighting being too much for the stage to handle. Other matches include Sabu & Rob Van Dam defended their Tag Team Championship against a top team from Japan in Hayabusa (WWE's Hakushi) & Jinsei Shinzaki in a heavily physical athletic contest, Masato Tanaka vs. Mike Awesome in what the very hard hitting contest that you would expect from both men, Lance Storm vs. Chris Candido in a grudge match that saw Storm be more aggressive than we've seen him before while the ex-"Sunny" Tammy Lynn Sytch made her debut as a full time member of the ECW roster, and Jerry Lynn vs. Justin Credible in the finals of their summer series. This was just about the perfect PPV that ECW ever put on in their entire history. It was only 6 matches but that gave enough time for each match to be a high quality encounter that could stand on it's own. If your looking for ECW events to collect, this is the top one to get based off quality wrestling alone.

Great matches although quality wise....
You can cleary tell it was transfered from a vhs but it kind of adds to the diy 90s quality of ecw itself and makes you feel more immersed the matchs are awesome mike awesome vs masato tanaka I could watch forever and that taz match really kept me invested if you love ecw you should buy it grime and all
