I used this strip light for my closet shelves. I needed several pieces and connectors. First you need a controller so I used this one so It would have Alexa control integration. BTF-LIGHTING C05W RGBCCT PWM SMD FCOB (+ R G B C W) 6PIN LED Strip 2.4GHz Tuya WiFi Group Controller Then you need a 12v power supply and if you only use one roll, you only need a 1.5 amp 12v supply but I bought the 5 amp in case I needed more tape lighting. This tape is 6 wire for RGB with White light options. I also bought 6 wire connectors which work fine but I had to trim off about 1/4” of silicone which was easy to do. It was way to install and program to Alexa. Good product.

We installed these RGB+CCT LED light strips as above-cabinet lighting in our kitchen, and we’re really happy with how they turned out. I don't see us using the rgb side of the lighting, maybe during holidays with that said. The ceiling is about 11 feet high, and the lights give a nice, soft glow that makes the space feel bigger and more finished. Both my wife and I love the look. The white light is very adjustable. The app uses a slider instead of exact color temperatures, but it’s easy to find a warm, natural white. We keep ours set around 25–30% on the color scale and about 30% brightness, which is perfect for everyday use without being too bright. One thing to know before buying is that this isn’t an all-in-one kit. You’ll need to buy a few pieces separately — the light strip, power supply, controller, and a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth hub for the app to work. None of it is expensive, but it’s something to be aware of ahead of time. The strips already come with wiring attached on both ends, so unless you’re running long distances, you probably won’t need extra wiring. You can also power the strip from either end, which made installation easier. We did have a small issue where the warm and daylight settings were backwards in the app, but it was an easy fix by swapping two wires on the controller. After that, everything worked fine. Installation tip: the adhesive doesn’t stick well to angled or decorative trim. We mounted ours on the flat surface on top of the cabinets, and they’ve held up well and look great. Overall, this feels like a nice custom lighting upgrade, not something cheap or temporary. Once installed, the lights work smoothly, dim nicely, and really improve the room. Would definitely recommend if you’re comfortable with a little DIY setup. During our remodel project, I thought it would be cool to add some under and over cabinet lighting. I wanted something that would be easy to hide, give me lots of mounting options, and be easy to wire and control. I used these LEDs and have been very satisfied! The quality is top notch, the color and brightness are exactly what I was looking for. I put them in a track to help diffuse the light some and to hide the physical light strip. I also put them under the bar top on our kitchen island to add some additional flair. They are paired to a WiFi controller and linked to my Echo devices to I can control the brightness and color (as well as turn on and off) simply by voice. Now I find myself looking around my house for other places I can use something like this!

Using the 24V was the move. I had set up this brand in the 12v variant, which was also good, but not as good as the 24v. They are very bright if you want them to be, i was debating on putting smaller 4" inch recessed lighting over my dead spots on my counter but decided to hold off and see how these performed. They performed very well... The LEDs are very dense, the distance between each led is very small making for a very even light distribution. I decided to not use a light diffuser on my up lighting and honestly, you can hardly tell... I have these hooked up to my alexa using the BTF controllers and also have it hooked up to my Home assistant server, so everything is automaticed. Linking the skills and automations was very easy to do. Its why i went with this brand again.

These look great in my over/under kitchen lighting! I have only two minor complaints: (1) the manufacturer warns that you should use another layer of tape when installing in aluminum channels to avoid shorting (I would think they would design the item so the attached tape avoids that) and (2) these are “cuttable”, but I found no way to effectively use cut ends with solderless connectors. The manufacturer’s branded connectors did not work for me, nor did other brands.

LEDs seem to be good but in testing I got a little over 2 volt drop from the start to the end of the strip which is unacceptable. The adhesive is also worthless and unusable. I cleaned aluminum channels to put this strip in really well and used plenty of force to get the adhesive to bond but it won’t. No matter what the adhesive doesn’t work and over night the adhesive fails and is hanging loose inside the channel. Now I have to order better adhesive and replace it or send the whole strip back. I tried contacting the company but can’t get a support contact or find a support contact through Amazon other than a link to their site. At this point I cannot recommend these or the company

Worked as expected and setup was a breeze. I paired it via a Giderwel Zigbee 3.0 controller with a Philips Hue hub without issue, recognized it on first try. The colors work very well as does the white/warm white. I can't say how color-accurate they are, but they are pretty bright. I did pair it with a beefy 24v power supply. The LED density means there's no excessive hotspots especially when in a LED channel. I'll probably buy some more if all still works in a few months.

LED's seem like they are ok, nice colour and great whites. Only disappointment for me is the product listing pictures clearly show the LED's having a double sided tape backing, where as the IP67 Rated strip does NOT have any stick on backing at all which is not clear in the listing..
