I got this adapter so my 9 year old could ride on my old trainer along with me. He has a road bike with 24" wheels. The adapter was easy to install and is stable. It works perfectly with the bike. You have to take off the flywheel and install a different bolt and knob, and although technically simple it takes a few minutes so it is not something you will want to take off and put on a trainer daily. Otherwise it is great for our needs. It's great for getting my son comfortable with shifting, breaking and reaching for a water bottle while on the bike too.

Perfect adapter to turn an older cycleops fluid 2 trainer into a trainer for a 20 inch wheel. Takes about 5 minutes to change. Would totally recommend. Paired with a speed sensor of allows a smaller person to enjoy their free Zwift account and get a work out.

Sturdy, durably built. Does the job of raising and bringing in the resistsnce component to reach a 20" wheel. I use this product to train for BMX racing, and it works great. There was a single nut missing from the package, which was sealed when it got to me so I'm guessing this falls on Cycle-Ops. I got the nut from a hardware store for 15 cents, works fine.

This was easy to add to the trainer so my 8 year old could start training for her first multi-day ride. She loves it! Her bike has 20” wheels so this was the best option.

There aren't really any generic options for this so you have to go direct to CycleOps to adapt their trainers for use with smaller bicycles. That said, their quality is absolutely top-notch. I added this to an old trainer that was on the way out, along with a Wahoo speed/cadence combo sensor which allows my 7 year old daughter to ride her bike in a virtual landscape on Zwift. It's a great way to stay active in the city where there are few outdoor activities and only expensive indoor ones.

The adapter is great. I'm using it to adapt the wheel of my 20' bike to my bicycle trainer. The adapter is very easy to assemble and includes the proper pieces to be assembled. That's about it. It's cheap, and very neat for that price. Have a great day.

I bought this to use my folding bike on the CycleOps. It worked to adapt the trainer to 20-inch wheels, but overall I didn't like how the bike felt as a trainer. I put removed it and the 26 inch back on—much better.

Works great. Easy to install, and even easier to adjust than the original mechanism. Lets you quickly go from 20-26" tires.

Bargain from Amazon Warehouse. This is actually an adaptor for 20" and 24" bikes, nothing to do with gender! I can now fit my son's 24" road bike on the turbo trainer.

Perfect adapter for small wheel bikes on a Cycleops model trainer

Bought to get my son's first geard bike working on the turbo during lockdown. A big disappointment - it simply didn't fit. Can't get the resistance unit to attach to the adapter despite the Jet Fluid being listed as a supported trainer.
