I use a lot of heat shrink terminals of all types and I really like the Qibaok terminals. I bought this crimping tool and it is a HUGE improvement over the old red handled one I'd been using for decades

I was very surprised that I would like these as much as I did. These things work perfectly- crimps look amazing, and the actual crimping process is much easier than the normal hand crimps. I am a pretty small person and lack a good bit of grip strength- so these make it much easier to get reliable crimps that won't fall out.TL;DR: worth the money short term.The ratcheting mechanism seems to be a lesser quality steel- so will probably end up not wanting to ratchet/lock a few years down the road. Could always cut larger hills with a dremel though.

I used this to make wires for an old tractor and will use it next to make wires for an old Jeep truck. For occasional use on my old vehicles this crimper is great but I don't think it would hold up long term for a professional mechanic. For my use it's fine, it works well. I'm happy with my purchase.

A ratcheting crimper was a new concept to me. This unit works fine.I did contact the company with a question but did not get a response. I had asked about how you adjust the amount of crimp. A YouTube video answered my question. There an adjustment screw, but you will probably need a pair of pliers to loosen it and make an adjustment to the crimper.

These are the best crimpers for crimping butt connectors. I've always used the combo wire strippers for crimping, but not any more. They look sturdy to me, but I'm not an electrician. I cannot say these will actually hold up day in day out work in electrical service. Still, they look like they will. If these ever break or wear out, I'll buy again. Worth every penny I paid and then some.

I purchased this crimping tool quite some time ago from Amazon and have been using it regularly. I reviewed the older review, and have to disagree with those who were unable to get wire to hold in the connector after crimping.I have crimped using the red, blue and Yellow connectors with the specified wire gauge, testing every crimp using the tug, pull, pull with no wires coming loose.The crimp is well engineered and rugged. It produces clean and neat crimps resulting in a professional looking job. This crimping tool sure beats the shade-tree hack job tools I used before with special pliers and such.

Makes crimping wire connectors a breeze!
