Easy To Use
I work in the west Texas oilfields. Tire problems are a fact of life. I have used these plastic plugs twice. Keep a good air compressor under the passenger seat that comes in a nylon carrier. In that carrier keep these plugs and a tube of rubber cement (or better, can of vulcanizing compound) and a roll of teflon tape. My first use had a small leak rate. I screwed it in dry. The 2nd time I wrapped this plug with many wraps of Teflon tape and gooped Rubber Cement over the tape. This mod held 100% pressure for a week until I arrived home and had my tire guy put a professional patch on the tire. I think it could have lasted for a long time. Also go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and buy a pair of Needle Nose Vise-Grip pliers to remove screws, nails, etc from your tire. My ultimate tire kit is a Dewalt 1/2” Impact, set of deep Impact sockets and Scissor Jack with hex drive. But these plugs can get you out of a tight spot vs my $350 oilfield tire change tool kit.,

Mine didn't work all that well.
I thought it was about time someone improved the old plugs & I liked the idea but mine leaked so I used a regular gooey ol' plug & it's been fine for a month!

Untested- let’s keep it that way!Look like they would work to fix smallPunctures. Looks simple- screw in and snapoff

Better than old school plugs
The park ranger introduced me to this plug when he helped me out with my flat at the park. All you need is a tool to remove the nail out of the tire and screw this one into the same hole. Way easier than the old sticky string plugs. Great alternative to sealing your own tire when tire shops won’t even plug or patch tires anymore.

Works
Was a little skeptical as to how well these would do. Used one on wife's car and it is still holding. (I know your supposed to have it patched) Just doing a test to see how long it lasts.

Just junk!
I had a screw stuck in my tire so I removed the screw and installed one of these plugs last night. I did it last night because there was a snow coming today. The snow came, I hopped in the truck to move it so I could clear my driveway only to see the tire pressure was down faster than when the screw was stuck in the tire. So, just to be clear, the screw that punctured my tire actually sealed better than the vector plug did.
