Great gloves!
Great gloves! I ordered them for fishing and they were fantastic! Kept my hands warm while I still had use of my fingers. Super comfortable and will wash well.

Soft, warm, great design!
I lost the right hand mitten of these. Just had to replace them. They are THE BEST mittens/gloves I’ve ever owned. The convertible mitten stays pulled back with a tough Velcro strip. I never liked dealing with the button and loop design mittens. So I can get to my fingers fast on either hand, the mitten top stays out of the way immediately. Dog poop bags, sorry if TMI.Oh, and the convertible thumbs are great too.Now I’m more willing to go on longer walks with my dog on these relentlessly cold Boston days.Well-made, thick, windproof, soft and warm. I don’t want to lose this pair, lol!I’ll keep them handy(pun intended.)

Warm and useful
I used these for my trip to NYC and they did a great job keep my hands warm. Gloves fit nicely and great to be able to use your fingers. Velcro is not the greatest to keep the mitten held down, but wouldn’t want them to be to hard to flip back and forth.

My favorite gloves!
I would love to get more of these in several neutral colors. These are the best gloves I’ve owned because of their functionality. I can grip things, use my cell phone, etc. without having to take off my entire gloves. My hands are still toasty with my fingers temporarily exposed while I complete the task at hand. I purchased an extra small which was too snug whenever I covered my fingers with the mitten portion. Was going to exchange them with a bigger size but I decided to stretch the mitten part just a bit and they fit perfectly. Been wearing them pretty much daily ever since. No regrets. Great purchase!

Buying another pair! (Purchased Sept 2020)
After reading reviews for other "convertible" gloves, I decided to go with these because they also allow your thumb to be exposed, and the whole reason I was getting them was to be able to get plastic bags apart when walking the dog. (I had not even realized that the others I was considering didn't expose the thumb until reading other reviews.) Further about the thumbs - These do not have a "hinged" cover as others do, which evidently get in the way and "flop around". There is basically a slit under another layer so that your finger slips out when you want it to. I actually would almost like this for all the fingers, but that would take too long to expose your whole hand. I was also able to have just my pointer finger exposed if I wanted to - I was able to hold my tea thermos this way without having all my finger tips out. They are very lightweight - the only material is a single layer of 3M Thinsulate. Other gloves I've had in the past were the Thinsulate on the inside and and outer layer.I will say that the large was too long for me (I generally consider my hands large for a woman, as I'm not small), so my thumb sometimes would accidentally slip out. Not a deal-breaker for me. I'm actually going to order mediums, and use the larges for when I need to wear two pairs of gloves. However, these were so warm, I will not have to do that often! In 41 degrees, I was wearing 2 pairs of socks and pants and 2 jackets (I have a disorder and can't be exposed to the cold) but just the one pair of gloves to test them out, with a second and handwarmers in my pocket just in case. Not only did I not need the second pair of gloves, when I warmed up from walking and opened my jackets, I was able to "open" my gloves as well. I had some difficulty with the extra fabric on the back of my hand getting stuck on the dog leash and when I took my jacket off before the gloves, but that would be with any glove like this. I'm curious how long the velcro will last, but again, that would be for any pair - I'd still rather have velcro than a button.I wish they came in other colors. Since I'll have two pairs that are different sizes, I'd rather one be a different color.

Good at keeping warm hands warm, cold hands cold
There's a trick to these gloves: whatever temperature your fingers are when you put them on is the temperature your fingers stay in. The first time I tried them on I was indoors and warm, and my hands stayed warm. However, when I put them on outside when my hands were cold, they stayed cold inside the gloves. They are good for wind chill and waterproof. They're also a bit stiff. I'm disappointed velcro was used as that grabs everything nearby - my scarf, my purse, the inside of my coat, etc. The velcro patches are also very rough so keep them away from your face and other exposed skin. The tips on the thumbs open too easily and don't have an option to make them more secure.

So warm and functional!
Incredibly warm and comfortable! My fingers freeze in every pair of gloves and mittens, even the fleece ones ... but not in these! The size is perfect and quality is great. I love that the thumb can be "fingerless" as well, making it very functional.

Would be better without thumb flap
Over all, I'm happy with these gloves. My fingers stay more comfortable with these mittens than they do with normal gloves, and I like that I can get my fingers out if I need the extra dexterity. Only thing I don't like is the thumb flap. When removing snow from my car or other activities, the snow can easily get in at the thump opening. I'll probably see if I can just sew them closed. No problem with snow getting in around fingers.
