American Girl Crafts Mini Scrapbook Journal Kit for Girls, 266pc

My eight-year-old daughter loves to write and do scrapbooking and so do many of her friends. I purchased this kit for my daughter and she loved it. The kit contains a mini memory book which measures 8 inches by 7 inches and is the perfect size for a young girl to keep a record of her memories. There are also 10 mini papers and an assortment of stickers. The diecuts vary in designs and can be applied easily with some glue/glue dots and lend themselves to a variety of project ideas. Any child can do wonderful things with this kit. My daughter even made little pockets out of cardstock which she then used for storing little mementos like movie tickets, notes from friends, etc.I also purchased this for my daughter's friend's 8th birthday and it was a big hit. I think young girls who enjoy scrapbooking and/or writing in journals will love this kit. Recommended ages: 6-10

I bought this for an Easter gift for my 7-year-old daughter. She absolutely loves it. Of all her Easter gifts, it was her favorite. We were able to use lots of our photos, and decorate them with the pages, stickers, cut outs, etc included in the kit. A glue stick and double sided album tape were a necessity to have on hand for quality assembly. There were also some terrific "all about me" activities for her to fill out and include in the album. Depending on your child's craft experience and creativeness, they may, or may not, need some adult help. Regardless, it was a wonderful way for she and I to spend some great time together. This memory book was a fabulous, especially for under $10. I put three more in my cart...

This is adorable! I gave it to my step-daughter to use as an album for her birthday party / photo booth pics... She loved it! Lots of cute stickers come with it and the designs and extra little inserts for them to fill out are neat. Very happy with this purchase!

My 10 year old loved making this memory book about herself. My daughter loves anything American Girl and she also loves to do crafts. I bought this for her birthday and she was excited to use it. It is a mini book but it is still really cute and memory book is well made and sturdy. If you know someone that loves American Girl like my daughter does then I would recommend this book. It would have been better if the book was a little bigger but, overall my daughter was able to make her own little scrapbook.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Bought it as Christmas present so I'm not 100% sure about little bits thoughts but I'm pretty sure she's going to love it. It is a bit smaller than I originally thought but that's not a big deal to me.

Really cute gift set for a reasonable price. It does help if your child is reading/writing independently. My daughter is six and has required a lot of help with it, but has enjoyed the activities.

This is not worth the money. The album is cardboard, held together by cardboard spine and has no slots to hold pictures. The colorful sheets that come with the set would have to be glued in. As my granddaughter loves American Girl doll I bought this for her. There was no American Girl doll logo, no real stickers or any other content to suggest it was AG other than the package. I plan to tear apart the memory book for parts so to speak and purchase something nicer. Really disappointed!!!

I ordered this item with some other American Girl craft items (a sticker book and craft set). After reading the reviews I have to agree that all the items each left a little more to be desired. This product, however, was the best out of all three. Still, the book was very small and the cutouts are a little flimsy. All in all, she enjoyed it after opening the package and exploring all the pieces.
