Just Beautifully Loud
Just replaced the old, decrepit factory speakers in my 02 super duty with these beauties. I had just replaced the factory head unit with a Kenwood unit and these were desperately needed. Very crisp, clear, loud easonably priced speaker with. One thing to keep in mind-it does not come with the "usual" 6 inch wire connector set up with the large and small terminals. The quality is top notch, very solid unit. The instructions are straight forward, no way to confuse them and install them incorrectly.

Clarity for cost is unmatched
I have bought some rather expensive speakers before and these are incredibly clear sounding. They fit very well. The build quality is great. It comes from a reputable company. I was truly shocked that they were offered for the price they were. I’m not promoting raising the price, but I am applauding them for offering a product that is affordable and quality. I love using them for music and podcasts alike. I plan on buying them again in the future and I’d definitely recommend them.

Only speakers I'll buy!!
Love these speakers!! I've bought these speakers twice now and replaced all the speakers in my truck and they are amazing!! The sound quality is great, they are easy to install, and they've made a huge difference. I've had one set for almost 3 years now and they still sound brand new. I will continue to purchase these speakers for any future vehicle I have and have recommended them to my friends and family for their vehicles.

Excellent!!!
Great sound, easy to install and Amazon had the best price and in stock. Much better than going to Best Buy and waiting 4 days for someone to even come and help you in the Audio section.

Great speaker for the money.
I bought these for my 2012 F150 after 1 of the speakers blew out. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and literally had both speakers changed out with door panels back on and tools put away in under an hour. The sound improvement from the factory speakers was huge. Now the caveat... I spent well under $100, so the bass is not that great. If that is what you're looking for, keep browsing. I'm a middle age man that got sick of the rattle in one speaker and this did the trick quite easily. Word to the wise, you most definitely need a second person to hold the door panel while you disconnect and reconnect wire plugs. I would recommend to a friend. (Also, you will want the adaptors they suggesting getting in a bundle.)

Not impressed
I installed these in my '99 F-250 Super Duty extended cab as a budget replacement when my stockers dry-rotted and they were a direct drop-in replacement for all 4 stock speakers. Ford uses some connectors, so you will either need to get an adapter, or cut the wires and put some compatible connectors on the end, but that is to be expected. After a month or two, I upgraded my head unit to a JVC 13-band unit as well - also a very budget friendly unit. (Fair warning, I am a mild audiophile) After ~6 month of use running on the stock head unit, as well as the JVC unit, the speakers are 'acceptable' at best at ~50Hz and above with some hefty EQ from my JVC head unit, but just don't sound very good with my (admittedly limited) 13 band eq. I have to gripe on the crossover a bit. It's a capacitor. That's it. It's literally the cheapest crossover design you can possibly make. Because of that, there are some pretty sizeable peaks and drops around 1-2kHz according to my measurement mic, which is exactly where the vocals sit. As a result, it's very difficult to get a good smooth response curve through the vocal range without it sounding harsh and shrill or sinking into the background. I wasn't expecting anything too fancy as these are definitely budget speakers and head unit, but I did expect a better crossover design. Thinking of bookshelf speakers, you can get speakers that sound waaaaay better (and have better crossover networks) than these for $100/pair (even $50/pair) and that includes the time and materials to design and include a box! I don't know how the car industry gets away with ripping people off so bad, but lesson learned. Next time, I may consider designing my own component system with some actually good speakers. Overall, I'm rather disappointed and wouldn't buy them again as my '94 minivan's stock speakers sound smoother across the frequency range than these.

Great seller..fast shipping and brand new just as advertised. I purchased a set of speakers from another seller and when i got them they were used and bent not to mention 100$ more expensive than these jbls and not even half as good sounding as these ones. Very happy with my purchase. Installing these on a 2012 Mazda 6 with the Bose sound system. Three times better than the Bose speakers an 4 times less expensive. A brand new Bose oem speaker costs 198$ Canadian plus tax and that’s not for 2, but for one speaker. Jbl blows the oem Bose speakers out the water with their 2.3 ohm impedance and crisp clear sound. I’m changing all four doors for 6x8 jbl GX and the ones in the rear panel for the 3,5.......... It’s been a week since I installed the speakers and to be honest they are better than I expected. I also ordered a rockville spare wheel subwoofer to add a little bit more base without sacrificing all the space. Planning on hooking up a line output converter “PAC AOEM MAZ2” that hooks into the Bose amplifier harness to get signal from the speakers and then convert it for the sub. This way you there is no unnecessary splitting of the factory wires and only plug install and play. I hope this is useful info for other people who plan on doing upgrades on their Mazda’s 6.

Definitely not suitable for my truck. There are too small and couldn’t handle the power stock radio.
