Never thought getting rid of Musca domestica could be so much fun!
Bug Assault really works, and it’s lethal! I took out one of those pesky little intruders with my first shot. Dead as a door nail and knocked off one of its wings to boot! The sights are accurate and work well within the specified range of Bug Assault but target acquisition and reacquisition would be faster with a reflex sight. All that is needed is a rail to mount up a green multi reticle Holosun , and a flip away 3X magnifier would be great too!A charging mechanism with the capacity for a 3 round burst would be a great upgrade to take on multiple assailants.Who would have thought we could have so much fun dispatching flies while getting in some range practice! 😃

Keeps life interesting
Didn’t know ridding the house of pests could be interesting or even fun, but then we got a Bug-a-Salt…. Our missions to rid the house of 6-8 legged pests is now much more entertaining. Seeing my husband charge into the bathroom, bug-a-salt in hand, ready to destroy the arachnid that dares disrupt my peace (spiders always find their way into my bathtub) comes with its own hilarity. It also allows for long-distance approach. If you’re thinking of getting one, just get it. No regrets here.I will say, I can’t attest to its ability to destroy roaches and larger spiders, but I also would rather not have to…..

Your new favorite terrestrial arthropod exterminating machine!
This is perfect for my needs! I've been using it to hunt Spotted Lantern flies and Parasitoid wasps. The gun blasts a wide spray of ammunition making it easier to hit the target. It doesn't need the official branded salt, just everyday fine salt like Morton will do. There's only two problems I can think of, one being the fact that it is kinda hard to cock, two being it can mildly damage whatever is behind the bug. However, it's a great product overall; I'l be using it for a long time.

Goodbye flies—powerful solution
This thing makes “taking care of” pesky flies easy and fun. I was bombarded with two dozen flies after an opossum died in my backyard. I don’t know how they all got in, but they did, and I was ready to defend the house. I ducked and spun from couch to window, blasting flies out of the air from a couple feet away and then going in for the obliteration shot. They didn’t stand a chance. The only disappointment from this is my cat is jealous that I can take care of the flies on my own.

This is NOT a children’s toy! A shot to the face could cause serious eye injury.
This thing is just fun! It is an effective killer for small, non-armored bugs, and it will kill flies, spiders and eveen roaches. It is hard to cock, so children would not enjoy using it, and the trigger pull is awful, Even so, I will sometimes leave the door open a bit longer than necessary to accomodate new targets!

Top notch.
As an owner of a few electric fly zappers that has been my fly killing device. Been looking at these but always thought they just seemed too expensive. Finally broke down and bought one and it's awesome. Just had it a few days so can't attest to how long it works, but it's been fun. 1st off not for a kid toy. Takes some strength just to cock it. If shooting close it destroys the flies. But it also works from a distance to disable. I shot one today from about 6 feet and it disabled the fly. I quickly reloaded and moved closer to complete the job.One thing I learned is do not over fill with salt. The clear plastic thing will not properly snap shut and you will spill salt. If you accidentally over to, just dump out some salt. Also was surprised at actually how little salt shoots out. It's a good thing, so there are not large piles of salt where you shoot.Would make a great gift for someone that is hard to buy for if they have flies.I have also used on carpenter bees that are so around my house. Even from a distance it scares then of if not killing them.Good to learn how to quickly cock the gun. Slow on loading and fly escapes.

Fly hunting is fun
I had some tricky flies that knew how to avoid fly swatters. I got this as a fun and different method to get rid of the flies. It worked like a champ and got the fly! The gun does shoot salt so my concern was the mess it would create, but I shot a fly on my nice cloth couch and it didn't leave a mess or damage the couch. I would keep this gun away from kids, because I could see it hurting your eyes. As a safety feature they build in a safety, but I can see a kid easily pushing that button. Just something to be aware of if you have little kids.

Possibly the best invention ever!
I had purchased the original Bug A Salt over 10 years ago through the Kickstarter. Sadly my kids got hold of it and broke it. My wife and I have had issues with flies due to our dogs going in and out of the house so I broke down and finally ordered another. It arrived 30 minutes ago and I have killed every fly in the house. Since I have owned two, I can say that the quality of this second on is far superior to the original! I am so glad I have this essential device in my home again!
