BC BONACURE pH 4.5 Color Freeze Micellar Silver Shampoo, 33.8-Ounce

I have been using this purple shampoo for years. It is a very dark, violet-blue color, which cancels out orange/brassy tones in hair. I have used this product when I was a platinum blonde and when I returned to my brunette hair with blonde highlights. As you use the product, it gradually tones the hair. For my blonde highlights, it maintains a cool ash blonde tone. If I leave it on more than four to five minutes, then it will take on a silver/purple tone. It will eventually wash out if you stop using it. It does stain my fingernails, so minor scrubbing removes it. If shampoo is spilled and not removed/rinsed off, it will stain the shower. Eventually the stain will wear off. I really like this shampoo as it maintains the blonde tone that I love. I recommend this product highly.

Great product! I've used it for many years. I have well water, which is hard on colored or highlighted hair. This shampoo leaves no residue & keeps your highlights looking bright & your hair healthy!

This is a great purple shampoo for blonde’s. I recently had a horrible reaction with another brand that worked brilliantly on my hair, and even my nails (turning the tips white), but gave me contact dermatitis on my face. That brand was the best for getting the brassy out of the hair and actually toning it. But the side effects just are not worth it. This shampoo is the second best, with no side effects. It will get the brazziness out, but not tone. You cannot use it but one a week or you will have “cat like” hair. At least that’s what happens to me. I have super long, fine blonde partially highlighted hair.

I have bleach blonde hair so purple shampoo is a MUST. I have tried so many different brands: Joico, Matrix, Pravana, Ion, you name it! This is by far my favorite one as far as keeping my color goes! I use a small amount (quarter size) and let it sit for only 30 seconds.... if you want that silver look then I would leave in for longer. The smell is nothing special but it doesn't smell horrible, so no complaints there. This bottle is HUGE and definitely worth the price for any fellow blondie!

After going to cosmetology school and having highlights most of my life, I've tried all kinds of purple shampoos. This one is by far the best. I lather it up and do whatever else I need to do in the shower and by the time I'm done, my blonde is the perfect platinum/ash color that I love. It can also be used as a toner that you place on damp hair, cover with plastic and leave on until your desired color. It is never harsh on my hair. I can even get away with not conditioning if I have to. I absolutely love it.

This is the only purple shampoo I will ever use. It works so well. It’s very potent so don’t be alarmed if your blonde is a little purple you you leave it in too long.
