I was sitting on my porch recently watching a thunderstorm roll in. And as the wind swept rains furiously blew the trees back & forth, I realized how reliant we are on our utility companies to keep the power on, uninterrupted. As a company, MAXOAK obsesses over creating products so their customers are never left in the dark. And their Bluetti AC10 100W Travel Power Bank is no exception. Designed to be the highest capacity TSA approved AC outlet power bank, the AC10 will charge your laptop, smartphone, bluetooth speakers, headphones, drones, and all of your personal portable electronic equipment. After spending some time evaluating the Bluetti AC10 & comparing it to other power banks, the AC10 quickly outshined the competition offering superior design, functionality, & performance. Design: At 2.75 pounds, 7.1 x 3.9 x 2.3 inches, the Bluetti AC10 is built like a rock from a durability perspective. I didn't drop it in my testing but I was pretty confident I could without any detrimental effects to the unit. The black anodized aluminum shell and push-button controls are both utilitarian and stylish. Functionality: As the highest capacity TSA approved AC outlet power bank, the Bluetti AC10 can be included in a carry-on bag and provide power for your electronic devices via its (2) standard usb ports & (1) type C fast charging port. In addition, the AC10 sports an AC120V/100W (peak power 140W) output for AC powered devices. You won't find this feature and large battery capacity while being TSA approved on other comparable powerbanks! Performance: The Bluetti AC10 had no trouble charging my cell phone, the kid's electronic devices & even other powerbanks with the usb charging ports. And the 100W/140W peak output 120V/AC power port on the AC10, an unheard feature with other powerbanks in its class, easily powered my laptop, an Xbox video game system, a fan, & even a 32" TV! Conclusion: The MAXOAK Bluetti AC10 100W Travel Power Bank is in a league of its own. From its two standard usb ports, type C fast charging port, AC power port, and possessing the highest capacity TSA approved 120V/AC unit on the market, the Bluetti AC10 has no equal among its competitors!

Worked great while it worked. After 6-7 months it stopped charging. Contacted customer service who told me to charge it (who would have thought). After several back and forth emails I was told I could purchase a new one with a 40% discount AFTER I received my replacement…like a refund? It’s still under warranty per the manufactures website (12 months). What a joke…. Update: It took several attempts but the company finally honored their warranty. We have a new power bank but it was a challenge.

It's made by a well-known-ish brand in the battery "generator" space -- go Google it. With that in mind, it's not surprising then that the build quality is good. With its 99Wh capacity, it's just under the 100Wh TSA max limit for carry-on. I appreciate that the AC outlet accommodates the ground pin--some competing batteries do not. I would have preferred that the USB-C PD output be 65W rather than just 45W, but it's serviceable to juice up mobile devices and or your lower-power 13" or 14" laptop while in use. I also take it in my camera bag when I'm out doing some shorter video and photo work. As others have noted, it's pretty chunky, so pay attention to the dimensions. I would have preferred that it be flatter, so that it would fit in backpacks better; but I won't ding it for it. The included LED light is super bright and is useful. However, in my unit, the button that toggles the battery between off/USB power/AC power tends to get somewhat stuck, and it can take a couple of presses to do the toggle. Still, I'm okay with it. And for clarity, it's possible to power devices via the USB-A, USB-C PD, and AC outlet all at once. 2023-04-20 Update: After bringing it along for several dozen photos/video events, it's proven its worth. But I would note that the power button juts out, so accidentally placing face down (vertically) it on a hard flat surface can cause the battery to be "on" and thus slowly drain even if nothing is plugged in. I found it drained a couple of times because of this, and luckily I had time to charge it up before my shoots. Just something to be aware of.

Product description says it is compatible to charge all sorts of laptops including Dell and has a high watt USB-C charging port. IT WONT CHARGE A DELL LAPTOP VIA the laptops USB-C charging port with out errors including a BIOS error. I thought I had a bad one so I returned it for a replacement just to have the same problem. As of today 11/9/23, MaxOak support is saying it IS compatible (WRONG) and as of right now I may be stuck with it. Just forewarning others who may be considering it. If I DO get a resolution and they do the stand up thing and take it back, I’ll come back and edit my review but right now it doesn’t look good. I want a refund as the description says compatibility but it clearly will not work to charge my laptop like it says it would. It’s too bad. I’ve been a fan of MaxOak durability and have purchased other MaxOak items in the past, but if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t do you much good. We’ll see how their customer support is.

The Good: 1. Good finish/quality 2.Gets through TSA easily, just take it out of your bag 3. AC works well 4. Great capacity This product is perfect with a few exceptions: 1. It is hard to turn on/off. I think you simply have to press the power button a ridiculous 5 times in succession, but I am uncertain. I am unsure why this is the case. The only way I know it is on without charging a device is if I see the battery indicator lights on. I check these to make sure the device is off too. 2. If this had another usb-c outlet that would be awesome. The one on there works for everything, but I worry it is too much power for smaller devices. 3. A qi wireless charger on here would be a game changer. It it large enough to rest a phone on, so I would love to see a version of this where I dont have to pull out a cable.
