Initially I was hesitant to purchase these simply because of the price. I'm sure if you've looked elsewhere you've seen that similar stools are priced significantly higher. I was initially going to dock a star for the tops of the stools only, but when you look at the quality of product you're receiving for the price, the benefits FAR exceed any cons. These are a great bargain for the price. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Dimensions: - Stool top: 15" diameter - Height range: 19.5" - 24.5" The good: - The price can't be beat - Although fake wood, the tops look unique (see pictures) - The swivel function works well without any squeaking - The metal is well constructed and doesn't feel cheap at all The bad: - The top is not actual wood (fake laminate) - At the maximum height the stool is a little shaky, but nothing that limits functionality Overall impression: I would buy these again in a heart beat

Love the design. So far they seem great for the price paid fro the set of two. They are double the price plus shipping at local Ashley Furniture Store. The top seating surface is not of great quality, but I bought with the idea of upholstering the seat in leather when they wear out or fail as people have claimed. They seem sturdy enough and were relatively easy to assemble no thanks to the instructions. Is best to put all the parts together loosely and then tighten all the screws enough but not over torque them. They seem like they may strip. Overall I like them and they look great in my new kitchen. Maybe not comfortable to seat for hours on end but casual eating, etc. Maybe once upholstered and cushioned they would be more comfy.

Love the look of these. We shopped for a year to find the right ones, found these and were SOO disappointed when they came in. Issues with the first shipment, stripped screws and other parts issues. We called and advised of problems, they immediately got the manf to call us. We explained and they told us parts would take several weeks to come. We shipped ours back, they shipped us a new set same day we called. The second shipment we were able to put together both in less than an hour. Had one little problem with a screw, was able to figure out a solution and they are great. Look great, feel very sturdy, not a plush seat, it’s a barstool, comfortable enough and perfect for the breakfast bar seating. Would order again.

First off…. If you’re looking for an island kitchen height that is what I got however , I’ve got them all the way up as high as they will go and they’re barely tall enough so , I would get the pub style and lower them. Was very easy to assemble very sturdy and strong however it’s not the most comfortable store so if you plan on sitting on it for a long time you’re better off getting a saddle stool that’s the one with the dip in the middle I got the smooth surface because I had read reviews that their natural was rough and possibly splintering Smooth is perfect it’s not really wood it’s like a manufactured time material feels like wood. Looks like wood could partially be wood either way great for the price!

These stools are very poorly manufactured. The fasteners came with flat threading and the threading was very loose or none existent. Using lots of Loctite they were assembled with difficulties. Parts didn't line up etc Now less than a year after purchase both stools are out of service due to structural failure. Catastrophic failure of one stool resulting in personal injury. I would avoid these stools.

My first order had missing parts, then I ordered a replacement and I noticed that the parts were differently sized than the one I got before. Assembly was fairly easy but the stools rock one way or the other. I have assembled them 3 times but with no avail. There are rubber-ish screws at the bottom which you can adjust to make it stop but they fall off from time to time. The stools look very nice when assembled but it would be better to buy it ready made because the parts that arrive aren't of the best quality.

I LOVE everything about these stools! They are a great additional to our kitchen bar! The sleek design is gorgeous, and the sturdiness is just as great. We love the adjustable seats (although they did need a little “grease” at first, they squeaked with rotation)! Shipped fast, great packaging, easy to put together, and seem durable for many years of use! I highly recommend these stools!

Very nice and sturdy!

I love these stools! Nice wide seats and very sturdy. Easy to put together...not necessarily a quick thing, took me an hr for the 2...but not a hard thing to do either and only needed the provided Allen key, so that was nice. I had previously purchase this exact stool from a furniture store for $50+ more for a single stool, so was very happy to find these on amazon. Free Shipping was lightening fast, ordered on Sat and they came on Monday 👍🏻 Happy customer here!!

I bought two. These were very difficult to put together. One remains lop-sided. The seat doesn’t sit straight on the frame or the frame/legs are bent. Probably a combination of both. Ohhhh ... and the wooden seat IS NOT real wood. It is a very thin, cheap laminate that easily scrapes off with a fingernail while dusting. So be careful with that. It makes me wonder what they’d look like if I had little kids using them daily. But they LOOK GOOD!!

Very nice looking bar stool but very difficult to assemble.

These two stools were a nightmare to put together, predrilled holes did not line up, tool supplied was garbage. Plastic feet uneven and impossible to adjust, so called “wood” seat is also questionable. Ashley Furniture You can do better. Never would but their products again.

These stools fell apart! Very disappointed by hot cheap they are. They look fantastic but horrible quality. We bought six stools and three have broken already.
