Baby Touch: Tummy Time

Excellent book that I have purchased multiple times fr different granchildren. I would highly recommend it. It makes tummy time a breeze.

My almost 8 month baby bunny has always hated tummy time, not tolerating more than a minute at a time. I’ve tried a few different things aimed at aiding it without great success and thought I should try something else as she’s getting bigger and no sign of movement! She smiled so much when I laid her on her tummy looking at this and started feeling the textured cats straight away. Love that you just keep turning it to keep it interesting. She lasted about 8 mins the first time and is happy to keep going back to it. I definitely recommend this for anyone struggling with tummy time. I also placed it next to a mirror for added fun. Note: when it arrived it smelt VERY strongly of artificial lemon scent so I almost returned it. I left it out of the mailing bag and the scent faded after a day...the bag still smells strongly so it must have been that. Bit concerned about the chemicals making the smell. Haven’t deducted a star from the rating as assume it’s just a one off...

My baby doesn't last long doing tummy time, so I bought this for her, for Christmas. She loves it! I'm looking at the other baby touch books now.

My 4 month old loves this book. He will lie on his tummy for a good length of time looking at the pictures, he has just started taking more of an interest in the textures. It's a good way to encourage tummy time, looks of lovely colours and illustrations which are simple enough to engage a young baby.

Recommended by a friend whose grandchild absolutely loved this book . Excellent quality. Perfect gift for newborn who will get months of use out of this . Given tip to add a baby mirror .

As a grandfather I’m a bit too old for this Tummy Time thing so I’m reviewing it for my 4 month old grand daughter....... ‘Hello, I’m only four months old so I don’t know many big words but I can tell you that this is a pretty book which opens up with pretty pictures and colours. I love to follow round the book with my eyes as mom moves her finger around. I have learned to roll over on my tummy now and that’s great. Problem is I can’t roll back on my own yet but I’m working on it. (Probably take another few weeks I reckon). I’m afraid our little dog has no interest in any of it, he’s only interested in bones, so no good for pets, but I give it five stars’

My youngest son (6 months) hates tummy time. Unfortunately he also has a flat head, so I have to do everything I can to encourage him to spend time on his front. I saw this book advertised and thought it had to be worth a try, and I haven't been disappointed! The book opens out into two colourful sections and one black and white section, and he loves reaching out to grab it and touch the different textures. We have also been putting toys in and around it (e.g. poking heads through the "windows" in the book), which helps sustain his interest. The book is sturdy, and has withstood several enthusiastic examinations by my 2.5 year old son! I recommend it for anyone who is struggling to get their baby to spend time on their tummy.

Live this book for tummy time. I still use it for my 6 month old. She sits on my lap and try’s to flip the pages on her own. I wish there were more pages though
