Frigidaire Retro Mini Compact Beverage Cooler, Great for Keeping Office Lunch Cool! (Built-in Bluetooth Speaker)

Super cute, perfect size for my classroom. Love the color, and the fridge is super light. I saw some of the other reviews and took a chance because this was priced slightly lower than some other options I looked at. It seems to be good quality and appears to work well. The product manual does say that it's best to refrigerate things before putting them in, which makes sense given its size and power. Didn't see any issues with the door, either, but for the money and for what I'll be using it for, I'm really excited.ETA: It's been in my classroom for about two weeks now and no issues whatsoever. No leakage, literally no noise, and I've made a playlist for the kiddos in my classroom. When I told them my little fridge had a bluetooth speaker, they were really excited. It's small enough I was literally able to tuck it right into my bookcase and it looks like it just belongs there, and it fits a nice 16.9 ounce bottle of water and my lunch/snacks.

I bought this for my classroom because I didn’t want the hassle of a bigger fridge (as in one that students would use and I’d have to clean up). I only need it for La Croix and Diet Coke, and it holds exactly what I want. I can’t believe how cold it is! There’s actually ice in the back of the fridge! I like how cute it is, too; I bought mine in pink. I always get compliments on it. Definitely worth the price.

It was super great (my movers broke my first one), so I ordered a yellow one. It was from the exact place, as it showed I had bought one before. They are great, and you can travel with them. I used mine in my home office to keep water and jelly nearby as I work from home. They are not big, so don't expect to fit a ton in, but it is worth it. I hadn't used an e-speaker before, until this one, and yup, it works! It scared me because I accidentally connected from my phone. I must have gotten a dud, as the yellow one decided it didn't like living in the same house with a cat and just stopped working one day lol. Would I repurchase it? Yes, for sure it is adorable and not heavy. I loved the colours. I won't get yellow; my cat didn't like it (she knocked it over). Cheers!

These are nice units and do their job. Setup is easy, and I like color, hence the yellow. I gave a 4-star rating because I have experience with their short lifetime, for me anyway. I have never gotten more than 2 years before having to replace.

This is the 3rd mini-fridge I have purchased since 12.22.23. First one was a brand I had never heard of (from Target) and the 2nd and 3rd ones (this one) Frigidaire’s from Amazon. They don’t last long as many reviews will confirm. Made in China, with cheap parts that can be replaced but, is it really worth it for a cheap mini-fridge? I replaced a part on my 2nd one for $10. Part came quickly but, how many other parts that fail are you going to invest in? After the new part was installed in the mini-fridge it crashed again 2 months later, different problem. First one I bought was $50, 2nd one was $35, and this one was $28. I researched higher rated ones, significantly more expensive ones, and the reviews stated the same problems that the lesser expensive ones had.I use mine in my master bathroom to hold medications that need refrigeration. I could definitely keep the medication in my refrigerator in the kitchen, as I did before buying mini-fridges. I could keep buying cheap ones, replacing them when they crash, approximately 6 mos - 18 mos, or I could buy an expensive one with higher ratings and a warranty that is worth something. I’ll make that decision when the 3rd one fails. That sounds pessimistic but based on their track records it’s bound to happen.UPDATE to my review. Received a notice today from Amazon, 7.25.25, that the product has been RECALLED due to fire hazard.

This was a complete surprise, there is no way something this inexpensive can actually work right..? It does and it works perfect. Tucks away under my desk and keeps 6 soda's cold, very cold. To make it a little easier and since I'm not drinking 6 in a workday, I put 5 it makes it easier to pull them out. While it does fit 6 it's 4 standing up and two laying down.

Pros: The capacity was okay and stored what I needed it to (face toner, face masks, etc.), liked the compartments, color, cute design, sound quality was clear & loud enough. I also liked that it was small and could fit on top of my rolling storage cart in my small bathroom.Cons: Things never got cold enough even from the start but I thought a little fridge could never cool like a regular size fridge. It stopped working within 1 year so I’m very disappointed. I don’t know if I just received a bad one? I remember that it was well packaged and didn’t look as if it had been used/was a return.

Love this little fridge. I’m happy I ordered it. It’s TOO cute, the perfect size for my home office which is upstairs. I purchased it to keep small bottles of water in. It’s easy up set up, It cools fast once plugged and keeps items cold. I ordered yellow for a pop of color. I recommend to everyone. Love that it has a car adapter included too.))So far, so good. There is a slight humming sound when it’s plugged but it doesn’t bother me in any way. In fact, it’s a relaxing white noise sound. If anything changes I will update.
