I very much doubt it as they are sold by weight. I cannot imagine the situation that would use only ten mealworms. They are very small,

How would I keep these alive and how long will they stay alive for

They should be kept in an open top shallow plastic tray, cat litter trays are ideal and the mealworms must not be more than 1 inch deep or the ones at the bottom will suffocate. They will last for many weeks in a cool place, 7C-8C is ideal and will not need feeding if kept cool. If you keep them in a warm place (room temperature) then they will need feeding bran (or brown bread) and raw carrots but must be sieved out every few days. if they are kept warm they will continue to grow until the start to change into pupae this will be 1 - 4 weeks depending on how big they are when you get them.
