Faraday Bags - RFID Blocking Key Fob Protector | Portable Signal Blocker, Upgraded Faraday Bag, Carbon Fiber Black

If you are like me and keep your keys on your belt loop, this will be bulky and heavy. This is a great purchase for women who keep their keys in their bags. Especially if you are using a tote, satchel, top handle(not the same as a satchel. IYKYK). Dropping your keys in a bag of those sizes-not an issue. But if you use a clutch or a wallet bag, this will not work. Like I said, it works and it is a good purchase. But I don't like keeping my keys in my bag because you never know if you face an emergency and need to get to your keys fast but you also want them to be "light" where if you have to run, you can. So keep this in mind. (And the five stars are not a mistake).

Just got it today, immediately tested it out on my car and so far it does what it's supposed to. My key fob fits perfectly inside, see pics. The look and feel is absolutely luxurious feeling. I got the "Pure Black" or rather the black leather one. The zipper is nice and smooth, doesn't get stuck like some cheap zippers would do. Now to test how long the durability and functionality last, will update later.Update: November 17th 2020. Still doing its job as it should be, very pleased with it. Zipper has not given me any issues. Took a little while to get used to having my key fob in a protective case... got caught in the rain a couple times because I forgot to unzip it before running out to the car and door wouldn't let me in, of course, until I unzipped the case. Not to mention it still looks really classy; love the leatherJanuary 6th 2021- this thing is really cool it's still going strong. I don't have any issues with it at all, as long as the car keeps saying "key not detected" while I have it zipped up in this case you know it's working. I'm definitely buying more as gifts.

I've only had it for an hour, so I can't speak for durability, but here's what I CAN say:PROS:- Looks exactly like the picture. It's black with silver hardware and the "carbon fiber" print on it.It's important to note that it is only made to LOOK like carbon fiber - it is plastic (PU), which it DOES say in the description, so no surprises there.- Construction seems sturdy. As stated above, I can't speak for durability/longevity yet, but the stitching is tidy and even, the hardware (zipper & clip) function adequately, and the internal box/frame don't feel flimsy at all. I'm confident that if I dropped my fob in the parking lot, it would survive the fall while in this case.- Contrary to my first impression, which I can only assume was due to my own user error, this DOES block my '22 Subaru's signal. When my fob is fully enclosed in the case, even when not fully zipped, I can neither unlock my doors nor start the vehicle with it.(Originally I rated this a 2 star, as I thought it was false advertising about the signal blocking but liked everything else about the case. Now it gets 4 stars.I have no idea how the signal went through the first time I tested it, as I have not been able to duplicate.)CONS:- The hardware, while adequate, isn't the best. The clip and zipper are both rather stiff, and the zipper isn't the smoothest. That said, they work well enough. Time will tell how they hold up.OVERALL:It's a reasonably-priced ($16.99 as of this review), reasonably attractive, and reasonably well-made key fob case.Which is why it still got 2 stars instead of just 1 star when I thought it was falsely-advertised.This is one of three fob cases I bought at the same time (different brands), and this was the least expensive (the other two were leather and not advertised as signal-blocking).

*Update*I have had the faraday keyfob holder for 22months. It has developed a slow "leak" in the last week, where the fob signal is able to be detected by the car with the keychain box fully zipped closed. I guess this is normal for farada cages since it's a shell of metal???? I had the pouch before the box form of keychain...the pouch wore out with in a few weeks. This one made it almost 2 yrs... small price to pay for the peace of mind my vehicle doesn't get ripped off by tech-savvy thieves- yes I will be purchasing another

It works ....some times the inside of the case has ro be closed just right for it to work all the way. It's pretty bulky also. You can fit it in your pocket for very short periods of time then it just gets annoying.

I took a long time looking for the right protection for my keyless car clickers and this was was my choice. But could never keep the seal tight enough for it to work. Guessing the zipper isn't holding both sides tight..so I tried a pitiful metal clip, then a thick rubber band and nothing worked until I bought a perfect heavy duty metal wide length & mouth clip to hold that sucker together. Now it stops the signal but it's a pain having a heavy clip on the holder...so I only use it at home.

Absolutely love this key fob case. There is a key ring on the inside of the case to hold your vehicle key fob, which fits perfectly inside the case. It works perfectly and does what it's meant to do. When zipped up, I cannot get into my vehicle at all. Even when inside the vehicle, it will not start when zipped up. When unzipped my key fob works as it should. This replaced another bulkier one that I was using that didn't look as nice and quickly started falling apart. The case looks nice, easy for me to keep track of and after 2 months of use has held up very well. I would recommend.

It’s bulkier than I would prefer, but it actually does work! So far, I haven’t had any problems with the blocking of signals. I had the mono joy pouches, which were definitely easier to slip into a pocket, but much to my dismay I found that I was opening and starting my car before I even took the key fob out, recently. So I stop using the pouches and only use this, and so far so good.
