Brain Games - Word Searches - Large Print (Purple)

I love this word search book! It's full of fun, fun puzzles and it's so easy to read as it's large print! They really are easy on the eyes. My favorite part is putting all the left over letters together to come up with the answer to the puzzle when it's finished. In fact, I wish all of the puzzles were like that in this book. Really, it's great fun and keeps the brain busy for hours and hours.

I bought this word search for my grandma as she spends a lot of time in waiting rooms and such doing puzzles. She loves the large print this book offers, and it comes nicely bound with a spiral edge. It is durable and convenient for travel and will provide hours of enjoying for whoever uses it, and it won't strain your eyes either! Great value for the price!

I bought this along with 2 other large word search books from Amazon as part of my aunt's birthday present. She has a very hard time reading due to being legally blind. But, she has been able to enjoy these puzzles. Thank you for the large letters. It has brought her many hours of enjoyment.

Why do they not make more puzzle books with this spiral binding? It makes it so much easier to do the puzzles without the book pages half opened and bouncing around. Especially for an older person! My grandma flips the page to the puzzle she's working on, and can set it aside without the cover flopping closed. The large print is key too. My grandma is in her late 80s and has some memory issues but is LOVING these word searches. Highly recommended over the crossword puzzles which are much harder if you can't remember specific words and concepts, let along place names, actor names, or specifics about some event.

I recently gifted this to my mother. She really likes the big font but there is one problem, the puzzles are a little on the easy side. I have no regrets making the purchase as she truly enjoys looking for the words but I have to say it is not something that takes her long. Even my father was able to finish one page in 5 mins and he isn't an avid word searcher like my mom. In the future I would like it if there were more difficult puzzles b/c being slightly blind doesn't mean you can't do more challenging puzzles.

My Dad absolutely LOVED this book. He has only one good eye, but his brain is super sharp! :-) He appreciated the spiral binding. It can be so difficult to write in some of the word search and crossword books because of the way they are normally bound. Brain Games are perfect for older people who want to keep that brain workin' and all other ages who just want a challenge!

We bought this for my mother-in-law who is in assisted living. She loves this book. First, she likes the large print and secondly, the spiral binding makes its easier for her to use.

The pages are a good heavy weight paper with large print which is less strain on the eyes for my aging mom. It would be easier if the print and puzzle could be on one page but at least with the (GREAT!!) spiral binding you don't have to struggle with holding the book open.
