Nice Model of Hospital Building
This was my first time putting together a model kit and it took about an hour, mostly because it came without instructions and I had to figure out how to assemble it. It was kind of like trying to figure out how to put together a children’s Lego kit without the benefit of an instruction booklet, but without quite so many pieces. Took me a while to get the hang of it, and the most confusing part was an interior piece that adds stability to the finished model. I thought it was an alternate roof, since it was the exact same shape as the roof piece, but without a pattern embossed on it. I was confused, but thought perhaps they were giving an option of having a plain or decorated rooftop. Not so. It was a piece that goes inside the model to hold everything together in a sturdy manner. So, I had to take the model apart and essentially start over. Once finished, the model is very nice. I’m using it for a prop at a birthday party for a friend who is turning 65 and is having a “Medicare Birthday Party.” It will be part of the humorous explanation of how the complex structure of Medicare works, representing “Part A,” and is perfect size and shape for the task.

Flimsy. Pre-painted with very sharp lines, but very dull colors (just white and grey). No instructions, but easy to assemble nonetheless. I’d look elsewhere; spend the money and buy a kit you can really customize.

These models are very interesting.
I am building a 2' x 16' N scale layout. The hospital is the center piece of 1/2 of it. Perfect building. Easy assembly without plans.
