The Flying Spaghetti Monster in his Own Words Review: Fun Read - A fun yet deep read. Review: Kill me now - After reading The Gospel Of The Flying Spaghetti Monster last year, I expected this book to be more irreverent fun based around the whole FSM concept. How wrong can one person be? I managed to get through roughly half of the book and that was only because I couldn't find a newspaper at work to read instead. The author has taken the fun out of the FSM and my impression is that he is just trying to cash in on Bobby Henderson's creation without making much of an effort other than putting the words Flying Spaghetti Monster through a program that creates anagrams. It's garbage and not worth the effort of shelling out your hard earned bucks. If you have already bought it, use it to prop open a door or stick it in the bathroom for when you run out of toilet paper.

Kill me now
After reading The Gospel Of The Flying Spaghetti Monster last year, I expected this book to be more irreverent fun based around the whole FSM concept. Anagram Central
As Bible students like to find hidden meaning in Bible verse and such as, so Jon Smith found hidden meaning through anagram interpretation of utterances of the FSM.

Too much anagram for me
Not what I thought it would be. It is interesting but if frequently devolves into a collection of lists. Snooze central. Good for the serious Pastafarian to have read, but for the curious about FSM it is a bit dull

Incredibly boring piece of pasta
What a blasphemy! My lord and light FSM shall smite you with meatballs! He true ain't so boring! This pitiful piece of ten years old pasta mocks the true existence of Flying Spaghetti Monster! I tried to read this for more than 15 minutes and now I shall never get my precious time back! It's like reading an old phone catalog while bunch of whiny old dwarwes are singing praise your FSM on the background. Shame on you, Jon Smith!

Sorry, not funny.
The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster was a hoot--I recommend THAT book easily--but this book is a waste of money. Seriously. I'm sorry, but even The FSM wanted to smack this author with his noodly appendage.

Waste
The author didn't have any purpose. This book was short and boring. He used a computer to create a list of anagrams of FSM related words. The list of anagrams alone takes up about half of the book. In the other half, he talks about the anagrams. There isn't anything clever or revealing about them. It's mostly a series of, "Oh, isn't it a coincidence that this is an FSM anagram?" moments. He also writes about how great his FSM logo is and how it's better than the more common ones. Please don't waste your time or money.

Went to lulu...
...and clicked on the preview this book link. I only got a 7 page pdf (so if it's half the book the whole book is 14 pages?) that had a different title to the book. Not much of a preview. I still think it's poor form to publish this book at the same time as Bobby Henderson's. This is his baby, and he should be the one profiting from it.

Amazing

So let me tell you what this guy has done. He's took the words "flying spaghetti monster" and made anagrams useing the letters. This is amusing for a few minutes but a whole book is too much. It's not what i was hoping for when i ordered this book. Avoid.
