This worked really great for a little baby bird I rescued and raised. Easy to clean, easy to store once I didn’t need it anymore. Great value for what you get.

Great buy - super sturdy and easy to assemble. You can easily accommodate a small/medium sized pet and perhaps even a little food or water cup. I was able to put two of my parakeets (Budgies) into the carrier for a trip to the vet and they were able to move around without being on top of each other. I believe this is the most this carrier could hold comfortably. I wasn't able to fit any food or water cups in there with the birds because it would be too cramped. Please consider how long your trip will be - anything over 2 hours is too long and you should definitely consider a larger carrier.

Cute cage, nice size to put my cockatiel in when taking her to get her wings clipped. Cage to small for her to use the perch so took it out. For the price, ok and works for what I need it for.

Ok, I have to say I was a bit worried that it wouldn't hold up. This little cage is perfect for a short trip. I had to move my son's parakeet only a few miles and I was so worried he would be scared to go into the cage. That little bird was so super happy it was not funny. I held up the cage when I was at stoplights so he could see out as he was so excited. He was not scared at all and did not act like he was confined. I did put the shredded paper down and I suggest that you put the cage in the bird's sight for a few days so he/she can see it. He saw me tear apart paper and put it in and I even gave him some of the paper to rip apart. I think to be able to see the cage made him feel more comfortable as it was something new to him. He took the drive better than my cats did!

It's too small for a grown cockatiel. A parakeet (maybe even a hamster) can move around easily. I tried it once on Meringue, and the poor kid couldn't even fully turn with her long tail feather.

One of my little birds is sick so I’m taking care of her in this small cage. Very well built and has weight to it.

Side cage latch is too low to latch. Perches are different on each side so you can't put on cage. Thw handle has laughably no where to ne put on. Design not well thought out. I've had many items from Prevue that are either poor or defective

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because my bird was showing signs of illness ever since I brought her home from the pet store and I wanted something in case I had to take her to a vet. Last Friday I had to take her to an emergency vet three hours away and thank God I had this little cage and she loved it!!!
