Having recently purchased the GERYON Vacuum Sealer, I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed with its performance and reliability. This vacuum sealer is a very good machine. The suction power works really well, and the bag seals nicely without any leaks. It comes with multiple features like gentle or normal vacuum seal as well as moist or dry for food type. It has a built in cutter that is very convenient but needs to be stronger. The red tabs help ensure the bag is in proper place for sealing. It also has an accessory port for use with vacuum canisters. The canisters are sold separately. It’s lightweight and pretty compact, I wish it had a built in cord storage on the back but it doesn’t.Overall, this product is great, and I would recommend it based on its price point. We purchased the Geryon to replace a 20 year old one it is a lot quieter and has more suction power compared to the one we had.

My basic Anova sealer stopped working so I researched replacements. This one had a good review for the price so I bought it. It has the same basic functions as the Anova but at a little over half the cost. I used it for the first time. I like the incorporated bag cutting feature because I use the rolls. It suctions well and self seals when it senses all the air is removed. It works as well as the Anova. The only negative is that it is loud which is the reason for my ratings. But for the money, I’m happy with it.

Researched several Vacuum Sealers before landing on this one (Geryon with the Blue Circle Logo). The biggest reason I choose this one was I had noticed that many mentions of it operating perfectly, after moderate to heavy use, 2yrs and beyond (Longevity). Next, the products vacuum/sealing performance and once again it was receiving mostly high praise with the rare sealing/vacuum issues (could easily be due to user error, wrinkles/bag placement/liquid/Need to replace gaskets/Diff. thicker plastic). Finally, the ease of cleaning/drip tray, this sealer the whole top half comes off of the bottom half, some said that they found it difficult to get it back on (once again could be user error). So, I bought it, after using for a month (Vacuum/Sealing approx. 50 items for freezing, mostly prepped meals, stews, soups, ect...) it works great, seals well, vacuum leaves no air in packages (TIP: wet meals freeze first then seal also play with the settings to find your perfect...), cleaning is easy (top half in up position lift to remove, pull out the foam gasket in the bottom half, Clean It, Dry It, Replace gasket, and Take the Top Half at 90 degree angle and slide down...Easy)...In the end this is a great deal and a great product.
