This is my second bread bag. I first ordered one of these bags a month ago (August). I make all my own bread using a breadmaker. I kept the bread in a loaf sized plastic food container but it sometimes got mouldy before I could use it all and I was throwing out more often than I wanted to. I thought I would take a chance on this bread bag. It's a simple design but seems to be well made and it's a good size. The bread keeps better and is still edible on day 3/ 4. The cut edge can get a bit drier but is edible. Sometimes I just cut off a very thin slice and the rest of the bread is still very good. I would only use it for unsliced bread. I use it daily and usually just shake off the crumbs but I felt it needed washed. I just washed it in lukewarm water and hung it up to dry. I bought this second one to use when the other was washed and also to use for fruit bread etc. I wasn't expecting delivery until Saturday but it arrived today. Great service.

Used to keep bread fresh , and not go dry quickly as it had been doing . Value for money and would recommend . Excellent service .

Quality The bag is made of an appropriate material, I am able to store freshly baked bread inside of it with no worries about going stale. There are no holes and the strings at the top allow for closure of the bag allowing both a good handle on the bag and a more secure bread storage experience Size Size is as exactly as described in the listing, could easily store multiple loaves in this bag. Look I like the design of this bag, it matches the photos and has a nice texture adding to the rustic feel of the bag Value for money The bag is as good and cheap as can be found on Amazon, maybe similar products could be found in local shops but with free next delivery I couldn't be sure.

Bread went stale within 2 days. Double checked the description and it says it’s best to place bread in the bag and inside an airtight container….sort of defeats the point of a bag. Wish I read this before buying as I wouldn’t have bothered

I bought the large size to cope with the rather tall loaves we get from our panasonic bread maker. Those marking this down for the lack of a plastic liner are missing the point. This is an unlined linen bag with a drawstring which keeps bread really well. The bread is kept dry which helps to prevent mould - a particular hazard with keeping home made bread in plastic bags. Yes my bread dries slightly quicker in this than in plastic but that's ok. I prefer that to mouldy bread and once the drier crusts are left they keep really well for making bread crumbs. It's machine washable too. It's nicely made and a pretty good price!

Terrible. The only thing it accomplished is collection of the crumbs from a loaf. It does not slow the staleing process and it is too small to accommodate my home made 500g loaf. A waste of money for me.

Started making bread more often recently and this keeps it fresh. Good value, simple product. Draw string can be a bit of a pain sometimes.

Yes, it does keep bread fresh and it lasts longer. Washeable is a plus. I keep thé bought bread in its bag, I wash mine by hand as not to contaminate it, Good buy!

Ottimo per chi come me ama le cose del sapore un po’ rustico e retrò. È talmente carino che si può lasciare sul tavolo o sull’isola da cucina e fa molto casa di campagna. Buono il tessuto, di buona fattura, per il costo che ha lo consiglio!

Good quality, construction, and function. Kept bread on counter & frig w/out issue. Double check the size to make sure its what you need if you aren't baking more than a loaf or 2 at a time. On the other hand, its good to store baking gear (baskets/tools/ etcs) and to transport if you take your baking gear with you when you travel.
