Zavelio Men's Shearling Sheepskin Aviator Russian Ushanka with Snap Hat

This is a very high quality, well made windy / cold weather hat but you can also just wear it all year round at night time as its nice to wear and not an offensive looking hat, it actually makes people smile because they can see how cosy I am in it. The leather is very soft to the touch and nice to feel on your fingertips, the lining is lovely and warm as it hugs the back of your neck comfortably. It is a nice quality consistent shearling sheepskin, which is exactly what the old pilot jackets were made from and could even protect your head a little if you slipped on ice. It fits me perfectly going by the size guide, it looks very good and not like a poor quality one. The customer support from Zavelio is very good too so you can buy with confidence. Very fast delivery to the UK.

Bought this as a birthday/christmas present for myself, I bought the medium size hoping it would fit and not cause me any problems in having to send items back and getting in to an endless loop of e-mail messages - The hat did not fit, it was too small. I contacted the seller who immediately responded by asking me did I want a refund or swap the smaller size for the next size up all so giving me instructions as to what I should do to return the hat . As there was nothing wrong with the quality of the hat I requested the large size. Before I could organize getting myself to the post office to return my original purchase the new hat arrived which did fit perfectly. I returned the smaller size hat and heard no more. excellent service in my opinion.

Arrived within 2 days of purchase and would definitely recommend. Took advice to buy a size bigger (I measured medium but bought large) - perfect fit. Looks and feels great, now worried my wife may steal it!2 tiny niggles: Firstly the drawstring doesn't hold itself in place when tightened however a small knot fixed problem rather than the hassle of returns Secondly an additional underchin strap whilst usefully supplied looks odd if undone so is left off most of the time and will almost certainly get lost as there is nowhere to store it.

Just loved wearing this fleecy helmet in the cold weather. Very good at keeping my ears warm and the back of my neck, so much better than just a hat. The only drawback was that there is no chin strap so the ear flaps would tend to lift up, however, I made an elastic strap with female press studs on both ends which clip onto the existing male studs on the flaps.

The hat is well made, a good price, comfortable to wear, warm as toast and and was delivered promptly. Soft leather and soft sheepskin - your head doesn't sweat. What more could you want from a hat for this spell of cold weather? Over the years I have purchased three of these hats in different colours from this seller and I have been delighted with them all. The hats have been used regularly and still show no signs of any wear and tear. Ideal to take to cold countries on mini breaks. Mine have served me well in Iceland in freezing temperatures. My new one is off to Budapest very soon.

Product is thick and warm. Decent quality. There was a small defect as in the drawstrings weren't attached inside so you couldn't tighten the hat. I sent an email and a replacement hat was sent within days. They said I could keep the old one. Great customer service. Good hat. Would recommend.

Perfect, though I ordered large, I should have got an extra large purely because of my hair! But it fits just right regardless! Not onlu that, it arrived the next day which was nearly a week early. It is actually more of a lighter brown than in the picture, which is just what I wanted!
