I am just learning to use a fountain pen so not sure what to expect or look for. It's a pretty true black and flows really smoothly. Im having no regrets and no desire to try a more expensive ink , except maybe the same brand in a blue. I got a good amount of cartridges for the price. Definitely would recommend.

This is great budget friendly ink that works well with all of the fountain pens sold by Asvine/Hongdian that I have tried. The ink is a dark rich black that writes well and flows well even on finer tips. My only complaint is that these ARE NOT international and will not take/fit other brands unless they accept a 3.4mm cartridge. The ink also has a longer drying time so be careful or smudges will occur. Again, for the price you can't beat these cartridges especially for daily use. Use thicker paper for better experience with less smear and bleed through.

My pen used black ink previously, so the yellow mixed with that and became light green for one cartridge worth of ink. After that is became dark yellow, almost brown, and gradually lightened over time as the remnants of the black ink left the pen. That isn't the ink's fault, just something to think about. Overall this is good ink that flows well and fits the 3.4mm fitting snugly.

As much as I like using different inks and using a converter, I have a few pocket sized pens that either don’t take converters or that do but barely hold any ink. So I wanted to get some cartridges just for every day use. I reserve my nicer inks for when I actually sit down at my home to write to journal to take notes. These work great as they’re inexpensive and they fit the pens that I have just fine and replacing them is a breeze. The ink is just fine for every day notetaking when you’re on the go. It’s nothing to write home about, but it gets the job done and the price is very reasonable for what you get.

Excellent ink for the price, easy to exchange cartridges and easy to store. Writes great.

Bought several boxes of this ink with the Hongdien pen (which I like and I thought the cartridges were proprietary). The ink is okay, has good color, can get a little cloggy in the pen, but my real issue with it is that it takes way too long to dry. I have tried to use in my planner and, unfortunately, have ended up with several smeared pages, not because I don't know how to use a fountain pen (I've used one daily for years), but because I assume the ink will perform well. Sadly, it really isn't of the highest quality. I will try to use it up but having notebooks in which several pages are smeared and unreadable is a waste of time and money. Won't buy again.
