Huy Fong Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce Bottle, 17 Ounce (Pack Of 2)

I just purchased this on Amazon (2 bottle pack) , gave one to a friend and tried mine tonight. I loved it! I am not a huge hot sauce fan in general, but have heard great things about this sauce and it didn't let me down. Its tasty but with sweetness and instead of just pouring red heat it compliments things for a better taste. I tried it on crackers with some cheese and it was incredible. I have tried other hot sauces before and don't really like hotness for the sake of hotness. I haven't cooked with it yet but I imagine you can do wonders with this sauce and its flavor.

This is a great sauce. I have loved good tex-mex for over 30 years and this is some of the best sauce I have ever tasted. The flavor of the ripe jalapeno really comes through without the blistering heat of some of the others. I haven't quite turned it up and taken a shot from the bottle yet, but a teaspoon tastes very nice with a nice warmth behind it. It is really good over eggs, soup, chips and so forth. I haven't quite worked up the nerve to put it on my frozen chocolate yoghurt yet, but who knows!!

Love this stuff! I bought the 2 bottles when there was news about the factory being shut down, months ago. I added them to an order so they were shipped free. The factory wasn't shut down after all, and you can still buy them in the food stores, but the price wasn't that different and I know I have a supply of my favorite chill sauce. I have used this for years, back then I had to drive an hour to a Chinese market to buy it. A good friend of mine introduced me to it. The flavor from this brand is so much better than any of the others I have tried. No other brand could ever take it's place.

The taste is the same as Tabasco, although it contains a few calories, and better than tomato ketchup.

About a month ago I read an article about the Sriracha plant in CA. Due to " regulations, people in the town complaining, and /or whatever it is all about it appeared ( in my opinion) someone or some group (political) could possibly shut them down at some point, even if it was temp. It stated you may not be able to find this on the shelf if this happened. I panicked :) and bought 2 bottles immediately. More than likely that was what the article was all about - hyperbole - to attempt to up sales. I feel sure many Sriracha lovers ran to the store or ordered online if they happened to have even come across the obscure article. I LOVE THIS STUFFand use it for a dipping sauce for fish, pork chops, etc . I add it to pimento cheese spread ( yes, I am from the south) and put it in spegg sauce, mexican food, and soups.

Great price! Save money when you buy in bulk. Great taste and definitely a go to condiment!

I finally bit the bullet and bought some of this tasty Sriracha; sourdough avocado toast with a fried egg on top is made 100% better with this drizzled on top! I love using it on all things breakfast. It also adds massive flavor to any Asian cuisine; noodles, chicken, beef, pork, you name it. I bet it would taste great on sushi too. I've been experimenting with it more and now that I own two giant bottles of it I can experiment to my heart's content.Knocked a star because I didn't like how the two-pack was created; they used packing tape to keep the bottle together (bubble wrap would have been better) and after taking the tape off the bottles are left sticky with residue. I don't like that and will probably have to try something like Goo Gone to get it off, kind of annoying because they'll get dust stuck all over them with time if I don't clean them now.

Sriracha is so versatile. Goes in or on anything. The smaller bottles are nice. I have about 6 hot sauces open at a time. The big bottle gets a little cogged up by the time I finish it.
